Minesweeper!! Best game of all time!

Hahaha, hm… it IS a game.
Is here any addicted Minesweeper player? Whenever I play this game… I just cannot stop.
As a result, in intermediate mode I got 59 seconds.
I know compared to what the freaks can do, it is nothing at all.
What about you… if there is a minesweeper player among you, please confess you are one?

intermediate:30 second ( >_< )
Expert: never *_*

Paah, i’ve been playing minesweeper since i was 6. That’s 9 years peoples.

Beginner: 2 seconds
Intermediate: 19 seconds
Expert: 3mins 43 seconds

I saved all my scores.

I dont really like Minesweper. It’s kinda weird

I’m rubish at it but that don’t stop me playing it heres my scores feel free to laugh.
Beginner: 25 seconds
Intermediate: 214
Expert: Never done that

it was only until recently that i understood the concept of the game. before i thought it was just all about clicking on the squares. im not that good at it, compared to you people.

They probably just get lucky and hit gigantic jackpots. That’s the thing I don’t like about competing with minesweeper times – there’s that element of luck.

Still… this thread has kind of inspired me to play some minesweeper and see how good I can do now O_O

I have always loved Minesweeper! It is a cool game. I’ve never actually beaten it, so I’m not very good.

This game gets me more frustrated then ever. I’m always ‘game over’ at the latest moment and I never understood the whole game. I can play it for hours and lose it for hours untill I trash my pc xD

i dont like minesweeper! Its just boring…

but that doesnt mean i havnt tryed it:D

yea every time i try to play it i try for about 10 mins, get pissed then, i just click anywhere…..i usually get about 2 secs if i win, on begginer, which is about 1 out of 15 tries….:D

Yeah, i agree actually (not about Solitaire) You must have had a lucky break. With my times, that’s about the time that i get every time i play it, not just lucky breaks.

course you can go into minesweeper config to change everything to 0 seconds for all….

also, you can stop the clock by first clicking to start the clock, then press both left and right buttons of the mouse, and while holding these down, press esc on the keyboard and let go of all…now you can play with the clock stopped! (so that’d be 1 second)

Hey, that cheat actually works! I beat my record on beginner by 1 second with that cheat! Thx! But it isn’t too easy to do.

I remember completing the Beginner mode in about 9 seconds, and I think I completed Intermediate once in a very slow time (about 90-120 seconds). I never managed to complete Expert though.

because you could only play one or the other. We do not have the ability to play two different games that end in "er".

Lander used to annoy me so much. . . I’m falling 1 mph, I’m right over the ground, WHY AM I DYING?!

You know I just tried this today I was expecting an april fools but it actually worked. that’s one heck of a cheat.

edit – these are actual search and find, no luck/cheats involved:
easy – 12 seconds
intermediate – 69 second
expert – never

I just think it’s fun for every once in awhile, if you expand the number of squares, and you click one and there’s hardly any left. I think the game itself truly sucks, infact, I’ve wasted 4.2 minutes of my life on that thing! Damn you, minesweeper! It’s so bad, it doesn’t even deserve a capital! :p

I love minesweeper but I find the expert level too daunting. I’ve been playing it for a month now

My best scores are
Beginner – 18
Intermediate – 117
Expert – 687

I know they aren’t much to look at. I hate games which need guessing. A lot of which is required at expert level apparently or maybe I’m just not smart enough. I use Windows XP SP2.

You forgot that cheat where the game paints a small white pixel on the top-left of the window that turns black when your mouse hovers over a mine.

Last time I had it working, I was on my Win3.1 box.
