DB GT: Final Bout was out of print since 1997, to find a copy of it a price under 80 bucks is VERY VERY RARE.
Heck, I found one but they are expecting at least 120 bucks for it. The game is VERY VERY RARE.
However, the game itself sucks, there is no real game value for it, just collection. If you want to buy it because of gameplay, I suggest that you don’t as 120 bucks is not worth it.
Course the other alternative is to locate a Japanese import copy of it, which isn’t so rare compared to the US.
Quick Answer: You cannot play imported games on a US PS2, even with the best modchips, it’s impossible.
Sorta Long Answer: It’s impossible for the PS2 to play imported games because of the country code. The Modchip has NO control over this at all, there is no way to do this.
The DVD regions can be overridden but the PS2/one games cannot be changed.
Besides…. I have the US version of Dragon Ball GT… heck, I have both US and Japanese… I guess it’s the voices that I like ^_^
"You need more training!"
Here’s a link to a copy of the Japanese version. You can buy it now for $37, if you can get ahold of a PSX with some way to play imported games.
