The Time in FF7

How long do you think the fight for the planet last? While we as gamers, played by game time… How long did it take Cloud and Comp. to stop Sephiroth? A week? One Day? Half a year?

What do you think?

As the gamer you could make it last for 50 years. Just sleep at the in 18250 times. =P

But for the story line I think it lasts 2-4 months. Gotta take into account the time Cloud was in coma, and then the time he let eveyone go on ‘vacation.’

Well, since it takes a week for Meteor to fall from the Whirlwind maze part, i’d say it would take about 2 weeks.

They walk around the world for a large part of the game. Assuming their world is the same size as ours, it would take………………………… a very long time 😀

I think around around 2 � 3 months. The coma and vaction period at up and the part in midgar ofcourse as well. It takes at least 3 game days to get out of midgar o_o

From the first mission in Midgar to the fight against Saviour Sephiroth… 3-4 months I suppose.

the longest any final fantasy has ever taken for me is 2 weeks, which was 10 (14 days), and i have played have and memerized every one, 1-10 and tacktics. and 7 took me 13 days. so, i personally think that none of them r hard, but sometimes frustrating.

as for the game, i would have to say that it takes about 1-2 months, no more. but i doagree, for true gamers, like myself, u can make the game last 50 years, i always play it till i gat everthing, im now getting 1000 hours on ff10.

A lot of it is open to interpretation, and there will never be an exact answer, unless the writer of the story steps up and tells us for definite. Myself, I reckon that it would take the better part of a year if you take into account all of the travelling. It would probably take a couple of days just to travel from Kalm to the Chocobo farm… (Although if the map to the size of the sprite is in proportion, maybe it’ll only take ten minutes…)

i think the time would be in years… it takes ages to walk across the world!!!

I took Disc’s 2 and 3 in one tally because disc 3 is very short.

Well I wouldn’t have thought years as I don’t think sephiroth planned a few years in advance to summon meteor:rolleyes:, but TBH (to be honest), I’d think a month.

About 3 or 4 months… I remember Barret saying to Tifa she had slept week without stop after the Crater scene, I’ll count that to it…

But, if we would think that in real life, it would take about 70 years to run all over the world by walk. Quite a trip, I’ll never get into saving the world… Not even it’d be done with great guys like ~Cloud~ 😉

somthing I was thinking about I think it only took 3 days to go from junon to the norhter crater becase rufus and the other shinra ppl use the lpong range air ship to get there and when you first get to junon you hear it will take 3 days to get it reddy
