Which Final Fantasy did you think had the best logo?

Hm… I say FFX.

I didn’t like FFIX logo that much as the others, cause it was so simple. I mean, it was good if you think how important chrystals were in FFIX, but at first seem I didn’t understand what it was. Rest of them, I liked. Especially FFX and FFVI

10 – very good. the whole braska/yuna vs sin
9 – ok not great the colour is good though
8 – good. squall and rinoa love story
7 – good. meteor comin down. colour also good.

so ten is probably the best.

FF7 and 10 tied for first with FF9 in second.

I’d say either FFX or FFVIII. They both were coool 😀

These are in no particular order-

FFX – Pretty good.
FFIX – Very good, kept me guessing till the end.
FFVIII – I was OK but didn’t mean much to me.
FFVII – Extreamly good, the colours we’re perfect for it.
FFVI – It was Extreamly good ties with FF VII
FF Anthology (European Edition) – Bloody great, its so perfect for an FF.

you mean the one with the pictures on the front?
i’m talkin about the anthology. as in drawings/sketchs.

My top 3 would b:

FF VII simply the best.
FF X really good but not as good as FF VII.
FF IX pretty good.

I would have to say FFX, It has the most styleish one and it’s something different then all the other logo’s. FFIX just plain sucks… really
A good second is made by FFVIII, Rinoa and Squall…

VII was the best it kept me guessin and meteor never actually comes in tell after the first disc

I really liked FF7. te made alot of sense.

FF9’s logo even though it is simple kept me guessin’. I kept on thinking what is with this crystal thing?!? I don’t know of any crystal in the game. Did I miss somthing??!?

Im going to have to say the VIII’s was the best logo. I also thought that FFX’s was also a great logo.

Well, uhm, FFX was pretty stylish but not to my taste. FFIX and FFVIII were my favourites. FFVII, however, was too plain. To me.

well, they’re all done by Yoshitaka Amano (that’s what it means by ‘Image Illustrator’ next to his name in each game’s credits), but for the intiated, he’s done the logos for all the FF games from FFIV and up. The first three he just painted in the game’s title. (I heard that the ‘celestial globe – that strange globe of the world you see on FFIX’s title screen – was also used as the FF logo for I -III, but I digress). Some of the games logos were changed for the US releases.

FFI No logo, Japan – painted title. US/Europe – two swords crossed over a shield
FFII No logo, Japan only – painted title.
FFIII No logo, Japan only – painted Title.
FFIV – Japan, US and Europe (PSX versions) The dragoon, Kain Highwind. US (SNES) No logo.
FFV – Japan, both versions, and US and Europe (PSX) – The Flying Dragon.
FFVI – Japan,both versions, US/Europe (PSX) – Terra Branford piloting Magitek Armour, US (SNES), Mog the moogle holding a dagger.
FFVII – All countries – The Meteor.
FFVIII – All countires – Squall and Rinoa embracing.
FFIX – All countries – the Crystal of Life
FFX – All Countries – Yuna performing a ‘sending’ (I thought she was casting a fireball originally).
FFXI – Japan – Several knights and mages on a battlefield, similar to the FF Tactics logo.

And for the record, my favourites are FFVI, because I love that Magitek Armour, FFVIII, because I think it’s just a beautiful logo, and IX, because you don’t find out where the crystal fits in to the story until right at the end of the game. Plus, it’s yellow colour extends into the ‘IX’ numeral, the first time that has occurred on the FF logos.
