I dance the frightening fandango
of fireworks and flames
and the choking smell of burning hair
of my burning hair
And I twist through
the feral throng
and gasp for air
in exhilaration and in
utter terror, drowning
in the music of this lurid ball
Because you will be dancing
with your deliciously perfumed foot
with your long lithe limbs and all
your delicate fingers in the air
dancing, dancingand desiring
And I will be in awe
of your skin glistening
against the fiery lamps
feeling the hot sweat rolling
on your breasts
and the beating of your
heart buried beneath
delectable flesh
As we embrace
I inhaling your freshness
and you glide your hips against mine
tempting ever
malicious and divine
And the fandango will rage on
and you will devour me
I in a wild fever
as we dance, as you dance
and I in awe
dancing, dancingand desiring
burning my hair
Hmm,okey heres another one,
just an amateurish experiment on head rhyme :p
windows of willow and waves
echoing, echoes, echo
in a river of change billowing
memories flowing, flows, flow
and the flower fainting from
the sun, drops in the grass yellow
only to be picked up by the haughty hand
and then blowing, blows, blow
waking with wonderment tomorrow
knowing, knows, know
always nearer to the mysterious evening
dreams are showing, shows, show
i think the first lines are especially flowing, like flowing from the tounge. I think it has got something to do with the meter more than the rhyme itself, but what that is i dont know. Maybe someone who knows the technicals of poerty can say
And the road
so long and forgotten
buried beneath the grass
behind blindfolded
eyes sweeping
to a future and
a past forbidden
and why are you lost?
livid to my touch
with hesitations and
uncertainties
when you drift
in an unknown sea
pretending to be brave
so above the grave mourning
over mornings and nights
of failed dreams
and fantasies lost
drinking your own tears
when you thirst for the
dark cold clouds
heavy with rain. 🙂
