The story was so well wrapped-up at the end. There’s really no need for a sequel, in my eyes. It would ruin the story that’s already there. ๐
and about mages maybe???
i know the game ended quite well and want to keep it at that aswell
I don’t want to see a sequel to any of the final fantasy’s
(possibly tactis but. . . . . . . )
fat guy one: Damn I’m drunk.
fat guy two: I have a hammer….
guy with no pants: JESUS CHRIST WILL SOMEONE GET ME SOME GOD DAMN PANTS?!
zidane: hey guys I’m back. *looks at fat guy one who is scratching his ass* um….yeah….your all abunch of nasty bums. I think I want to kill you all. *chops guy one and two’s heads off*
guy with no pants: Please spare me! I have no pants!
Zidane: ew…*chops head off*
yeah IX-2 might be a little short in play time if it were to be about tantilus. But if they were really to make one, I say bring back kuja, he kicks mighty fine ass. oh yeah….
And besides, it was all wrapped up pretty nicely at the end, like kurohime said.
The only room they have left to manoeuver for a new storyline is the possibility that one of the Genome people (you know, the Terra people. With that woman person who could sense Kuja. Forgotten her name. Mak… Summit) or one of the Black Mages go slighty crazy and try to take over the world for your general plot.
Another option could be to have a Final Fantasy VI like story structure, where each character’s tale is detailed (you do a plot with Zidane, game shifts to Eiko, game shifts to Amarant, etc. etc.) But like everyone’s said, there’s not much room left for a storyline – Final Fantasy IX closed the book quite firmly on it’s story, unlike some of the others.
Besides, we can’t have Final Fantasy IX without Kuja…
