I am working on a new Final Fantasy game (I call it this because it has ff characteristics and chocobos, ect)-FF Return to an Empire. I’m making it using RPG maker 2000 and I already have 10 maps done and 2 short Cut scenes which are 2-D. The game itself is going to have a story that is a bit like FFX while being very original. I hope you guys will like it and I’ll post some more info and images soon.
I messed around with making different games for a year and then finally realized they were crappy and decided to start learning with tutorials how to make em. heh.
SPOILER:
The game starts off with Landon, a "king of the skies." But after a collision with a giant meteor, he wakes up much later to realize he is in a different world-a civilization much like that of the middle age world. In this world he meets a young summoner named Jays, who nourishes him back to his health. Suddenly the town she lives in is blasted apart by another comet and she is forced to leave her town as an unknown evil falls upon the world, and they are off.
The first cut scene in the game consists of 90 frames, and last about 1 minute, the second is only 20 frames, and last about 30 seconds.
I like the way this is going so far, hope I can finish this game soon! 🙂
tell me about this RPG maker 2000
PS maybe u could direct us to some of these tutorials too
its all right there, tutorials, downloads, i still dont know how to use it though. I wanna know how to make side ways battles and how to make events at certain times do certain things. its too confsuing.
NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED to: Final Fantasy: Uniting Nations
It now has 32 maps, and I added some characters from the old FF games into it, andthey do serve a purpose. They have in a way been all thrown through time into 1 era. For more, go to www.ffwa.org (I think) and go to the forums, then go to "General Final Fantasy" I have a post there and it has images and stuff on it.
Yuna: Oh no, a Metor
classic
Well get that game made good and proper, and take time over it, though I do really want to play it.
