Final Fantasy Anthology. Which is a two-disc collection with both FF6 and FF5. I personally recommend FF6. In fact, I recommend that game to anyone who hasn’t played FF before and likes the old-scool style games. 🙂
Or you could go FF Chronicles, which has FF4 on it.
FF1 and FF2 remakes will also be coming out in the spring, and I was pretty taken by both. So that might also be worth it. Maybe you should go out and rent FF Anthology first and see if you like it. I personally do, but I know people who got too spoiled by the S-Gen graphics and can’t play FF6 and previous.
Meh, up to you! ^_^

I was pretty impressed with the FMVs, although they were SO well done that it left me longing for the true original 8-bit glory of the real games. But I think anyone who really likes the quality and style of FFChronicles and FFAnthology (ie, old-style graphics with new FMVs) as well as updated music and graphics, FFOrigins will be a definite must-get.
I’ll be getting it so I don’t have to call on my fiancee every time I can’t understand the kanji on screen!! 😀

Soon it’s going to come out on the PSX in the US
Thats what I be getting for me soon! 😀
Hey.. Who decided to name the white mage in honor of me? 😀
Actually, I could play through the japanese versions. I do know a little bit of hiragana and can figure out the katakana.
