how far is everyone in ff1 of origins?

so how far are you?wot lvls you at?how long u played?u playin on easy or normal?
well im playin on normal, ive just lit up the 4th crystal so im quite close to finishing it:D all four of my party are at lvl 46 and ive clocked bout 25 hours:cool: ps. i live in europe i got it a while ago, not like Us who jus got it like 2 days ago…..:p

For FFI, I decided to do easy mode (to see what the difference was between the original – i.e. ‘normal’ mode), and there isn’t much difference, apart from lower HP levels for bosses and items and magic being slightly cheaper.

In FFI, got the canoe and have headed up to Gulug Volcano, and are just about to go in and give Kary the Fire Fiend a good thumping. All my characters are at level 22 (Fighter, Red Mage, Black Mage and White Mage.). Can’t remember my total playing time though.

Haven’t played much of FFII, as I’ve been concentrating on FFI. Currently I’ve left Altair and headed up to Gartrea.

I’ve decided to play it on Normal mode.

So far, i’ve gotten the ship and i’m on my way to elfland. Characters are fighter, monk, white mage (:D) and black mage. Levels are all at 5 I belive.

nice progress, well jus yesterday i completed ff1:D total playin time was about 27 hours and a half and all party members were around lvl 50 odd, have to say last boss very easy, only took me a few hits b4 he was defeated……:o
Well started ff2 today and im outside gartrea gettin stronger and stuff, gunna play later n press on a bit….

Ive finished ff1 and im about half way throo FF2;)

I’m playing Easy mode. My party consists of A Warrior, Black Mage, Thief, and White Mage. I’m at Marsh Cave currently, and my whole party is about Level 11.

On FF2 I’m…..not sure where I am lol…..I’ll edit this with my location later.

I’ve been playing FF1 more, but not much more…..

I am at The Semmitt Falls Mine, in FF2.

*Update* Just completed Gulug Volcano and revived the Fire Crystal, but bloody Kary (i.e. Maralith) knocked out my White Mage in the process! After reviving him (I named my White Mage after myself) at Crescent Town, I tried heading into the Ice Cavern, but those damn &%$@ing Dark Mages keep nuking my party with Fire3 and Poison! What’s worse, most of the time it’s impossible to escape from them and you often have to fight six or seven of them simultanously! As we say here in Australia; Not… Happy… JAN!!! (just a little Aussie humour there.. lol)

So, I’m just building up my party so that they could hopefully survive the Ice Cavern long enough to get the Levistone and then get out again in one piece, and then, next stop, Mount Duaguer, then hopefully, onto the southern Desert, and the maiden flight of the Airship!!

FF2 update…..well ive hardly played this in ages for one reason or another but im just entering the cave to ge tthe mythril……my guys are quite powerful……firion has 1200 odd hp:D

Nearly finished FFI. Just bet Tiamat at the Floating Castle, revived the final crystal (Wind) and now just spent my time getting all the magic spells I missed for my Knight and Red Wizard, (I got Life2 and Holy for my White Wizard and Flare for the Black Wizard before I went up to the Floating Castle) plus also picked up Excalibur from Mt Dureguar. Still got to get a few items I missed out on getting at the Earth Cave and the Cardia Islands (where Bahamut is).

Then, finally, on to the Temple of Chaos, a quick time-warp back a 1000 years grabbing the Masamune for my White Wizard (don’t ask) on the way, and then finally to send Chaos (aka Garland!) back to wherever the hell he came from!The prefect plan! How I love the simple ways of completeing the early FF games!

I decided to go with Easy mode, since I have beaten FF1 in the past, and I don’t feel like going through all that leveling up. My party consists of a Fighter, Black Mage, White Mage, and the greatest classic FF character; the Red Mage.

I am waiting until I finish FF1 before I jump into 2.

Notice though it seems a trend to have in your party a Fighter, Blk Mage, Wht Mage and a Red Mage.

Anyway, I’ve completed FF1, All my characters are on Lvl 64 (took ages), I’ve playd for 34 hours, but I am playing on Easy, got to try Normal now
