Did anyone notice something about the FF X music…

Its really obvious (If you listen carefully too all the FFs music) thats FF X’s music is from all over FF’s, but re-mixed?

Im not saying that all the music in FF X is from other FFs, but some of the songs are just other FF songs, but re-mixed…

Take the first bit of FF X for example, when thos kids are standing around the pillar thing, you hear the prelude theme of other FFs, but with a faster tempo..

Or when tidus and yuna are laughing in luca, you can hear a FF VII tune, but with more beats and stuff…

Maybe just me, but i as wondering if anyone else noticed it…

I’m sure it’s hard to come up with hundreds of new songs for each game so they "recycle"

they do that in all of them that i can remember at the moment. like that bum bum bum bum bum bum bum song. it keeps them all in sync, so to speak. kind of like with the cid and wedge and biggs stuff.

Yes it is just FF to recycle stuff like Summons/aeons/GF, Music, Cid/Biggs and Wedge and even more like weapon names and even some other character names.

It�s just regular Final Fantasy ingredients and I like it!!!

I dont think i saw them in any other FFs

And if you say FF VI, ur wrong, they were only in FF VI when it was re-released, the original never had em…

You could get them on your Blitzball team in X. And they were pretty spiffy, as I recall. I don’t remember if they were in IX, though.

I think they were called "Vicks" and Wedge in the original.. yay, big difference. That, or it was just the ROM I played… *shrugs*

Yeah I like that bum song as well…though I have no idea which tune your on about, but thats part of the fun I guess.

And yeah I’ve noticed that most tunes have been recycled for evey FF, apart from the original NES version of Fianl Fantasy1, where the score was completely original.

I woudn’t say most of the music is remixed. The Prelude is something that they use in most FF games, although in this game they actually did something different with it. This game actually broke from tradition by not using the famous Final Fantasy Anthem (Prologue) during the closing credits.

do you mean ff3 for the snes? they were the soldiers in the very beginning. that the whelk attacked. that escorted terra. remember? or am i misunderstanding?

Yes, LEELOO, correct. Although Biggs was referred to as "Vicks" for some reason. Or should I say "VICKS," following that games custom of putting the names in all capitals.

The name Vicks is a translation mistake. Japanese doesn’t have a V, so vor Vi they also use Bi, and the translator must have thought that the programmers meant Vicks instead of Biggs. Pfffffffff… didn’t know Star Wars, hm. *shakes her head in shocked silence*
If you pay attention you can encounter similar things in other games or in anime or manga.

Some of the best music I have heard is from FF. That music is soothing when your pissed or sad. No matter its good all around

Final Fantasy music is great even if it is remade. Except for all that DJ Liquid remix stuff which is crap. And Hailey, if you have decent internet you can try to download it off Kazaa at www.kazaa.com cause that works pretty well.

All FF music rocks, even if the do recycle it :).

The tune recycled most has to be the Chocobo tune… It’s virtually the same in all games… And the ‘Victory’ song (at the end of battles).

Yeah the chocobo song is the best (especially on 8. Sorry for posting that here but oh well) but the ending song is cool too which is why it made me mad that they didn’t have it on X-2
