Thats right folks. Get out the paper and pecils. Get out your d20’s and d10’s. We’re talkin about old skool role-playing.
I’m curious as to how many Shriners here play D&D or ANY WhiteWolf game (such as Vampire: the Masquerade OR Werewolf: The Apocalypse) or any other paper and pencil rpg.
How did you get into it? How long have you been playing? Share your RP-ing stories here!
My group was playing D&D when I joined. I remember my first session. They killed my character right away, and revived as a different being. Then later on, it got turned into a vampire.
Currently, my group is into the WhiteWolf games. We currently have a game of Werewolf going and at last night’s session, I became pack leader by winning the challenge.
We usually meet every or every other Wed. But next week, I think we’re meeting BOTH tuesday and wed.
Oh yeah, you can print character sheets for WhiteWolf games at white-wolf.com
And everyone should play Vampire. ;_;
I was a thief, and probably pretty crappy. My money was stolen… o_O"
I did shoot two of the policemen dead though. :E
Yes, I can be evil.
I’ve also played Fading Suns (as a noble lord with a brother who hated my guts) and D&D (which we had an extra person with us in.) It was great stuff.
Aaaah~
Generally, I play white wolf stuff. There’s this game called Agone that I really want to get into though. I’d probably alter the character creation before I played because it requires too much math.
Merl and I are creating a couple pen and papers, and those are going to be freaking fantastic, especially our final fantasy one.
As for my current character, i’m playing a 200 year old Daughter of Cacophony, and her cover is singing at a gay bar called ‘The Pink Tulip’.
A few days ago, my roomie’s cousin gave us the Dark Ages: Vampire book.
ATTN ALL WHITEWOLF FANS: Check the WhiteWolf site at white-wolf.com, because I think in April they’re going out of buisness and now is the best time to stock up on books.
EDIT: That might not be true. My fiancee told me that and i’m not sure if he’s right or not.
Game ends in two weeks.
Soon, the group shall be starting a D&D that starts in hell.. And i’ve been working on my character.. She’s a Drow Rogue. 😉
At the moment, I’m playing the part of a Solo in Cyberpunk. Myself and two of my housemates, and another guy. Our party’s always getting into strange and crazy sorts of trouble. Like just now we had the police chasing us because I gunned down two people who were following us (after slashing their tyres.)

This sounds cool. Maybe me should have a lil looksee. The only problem is, there’s no-one to play with. My friends aren’t into this stuff. Well one might be but 2 is not enough really.
I remember in Fading Suns when Phil and I were chasing after someone. We found out that one of the Dukes was going to be killed via a bomb planted in someone. After not being able to pass the message on because my brother thought I was pulling his leg (and he hated me…) We decided to drive and stop the bomb.
Problem was neither of us could drive.
By the skin of our teeth, we went along a bridge and chased after the Duke’s vehicle. And then spun round to go after him down the other carriageway. And then we rolled some bad dice and ended up crashing into him. We were able to drag the bomb guy out of the way, and then were promptly knocked out by the Duke for causing the crash.
Classic days~
and i own a few game’s i’d love to try, but do not have enough time to, though.
