Hellsing

I’ve heard that this is a very good anim�, but I have no idea what it is about. I’m wondering if some of you could help out with a good description of the storyline, and say what anim�s it is like.

Thankyou for the link. I have now downloaded a few episodes, and it is TOTALLY AWESOME!! Alucard just rules, is there anyone out there in the anim� world more badass than him?….I don’t think so.

Anyway this has now become my second favourite anim� knocking down ‘Devil Man’, but not beating Akira. I love this anime, and I will be buy all 4 DVD’s very soon, I’m also looking for some cool looking posters of it, and to tell you the truth I’m not toally sure any exist.

Yeah I noticed your sig and avatar, and thought they looked pretty cool Tal, so I decided to look-up about it, and ask my all knowing anime friend (his name is Simon, and I know him in real-life) to tell me what he thought. He said it was awesome.

So anyway its thanks to your sig that I got into Hellsing, cheers Tal. I am currently downloading Episode 4. Though I also have Episode 13 (I ‘accidentally’ clicked on the download). I also have 1, 2 and 3. All of them are very cool, and I am hoping to follow in your footsteps Tal, and turn my setup here into a mini-Hellsing shrine.

Ask and you shall receive many. I’m not sure what the difference is between wallscrolls (http://www.animecastle.com/hellsingwallscrolls.html) and posters is but the wallscrolls had more choices.

Yeah I’ve seen some parts of the manga nd I feel like I should buy that as well, I’m quite curious about Alucard/Arucard and his background, I mean I know hes Dracula from the last episode with the flash of lightning showing him with a moustache (He looks like Vlad The Impaler/Vlad Dracula), also he impales Incognito on the spike just like Vlad The Impaler did to his victims.

But I want to know how he became gentically modified and such. So whilst I’m at it I might as well pick up the manga.

My sister had pointed out something quite interesting about Hellsing.
Okay, remember the part when Integra finds Aurcard? The part when he is licking the blood off the floor is amost exactly like what Lestat did from the novel, The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice.

I just thought that was pretty cool

Hellsing is pretty freakin good. I got all of Hellsing burned on 3 DVDs from my sweeties friend.

Vampires have always seemed to be a good choice in anime. 😉

I read the book, I did’nt see the dvd. It’s still one of the best I’ve seen

I’m sorry but the main guy in Vampire Hunter D is the hero of badass if you ask me. But have you ever thought about getting into soul reaver because you will probably love Kain

Yea, I really like Hellsing. Seen most of the anime, and have the first two volumes of the manga. But I still like VHD better. Especially because Vampire Hunter D was designed by Yoshitaka Amano. Sweet~

Hellsing is Awesome! I only have the first DVD but Alucard is an Awesome Vampire (D would still own him though). I need to get more episodes of this anime….

I’m not so sure. It’d be a fucking long fight, but I think Alucard would still win due to his abilty to be able to come back fully, just as long as one strand of DNA is still left (…I think thats correct),whilst this doesn’t apply to D as he hasn’t been worked on for 100 years by Holy Priests.

Also D is Dracula’s son, Alucard IS Dracula (though there not the same anim� and all, but you get what I mean.)

lol. and unless D hated his fater (drac) for some reason, i don’t see why he’d want to kill him.

I’ve always been under the impression that the following generation is always more powerful than the preceeding one. And, I forgot, can Alucard stand daylight? If no, then Alucard and D will just have to battle until dawn :GAME OVER:

Yes Alucard can stand day light…at least I think he can. I think I remember him drinking some medical blood whilst outside in the daylight
