in the castle is another weapon to fight” after you beat him you get proof of beating him,

its a green mist by the stairway” its aukward to activate ”

have a party standing on the green teleporter outside the castle and then switch to the other party.. you have to ring the bell down by the winding stairs once you done that jump back in the teleporter and switch to your characters outside the castle and then run in the doors into the green mist by the stairs” be prepared for a long fight.. its hard to explain but with practise you will do it in no time..

The Weapon you talk of is Omega Weapon, and he is indeed a complete bitch to defeat. I only managed it through a holy war after I’d cast Aura on my party and then Renzokuken-ed the guy to death and relied on Lionheart to bring his massive HP down.

it took me about 6 tries with him.. i had no heros at the time but i did do the next best thing..

i had rinoa on limit breaks.. hoping she will do her invisible moon. i think thats what its called? its been so long since i played it..
anyway she did do it and along with the lionheart he was mine..

Omega kicked my ass too…many many times 🙁 When I beat it first time I used heros. On the second time…there was Rinoa, Zell and Squall in my party. Rinoa and Zell died pretty fast, but Squall had soooooo good evade, that Omega missed him almost every time. I got Lion Heart two times and after that few renzokukens more and that’s it. I didn’t use heros…

Btw…did you knew that in tutorial, there opens "proof of omega" after you have killed it….

The proof thing in the tutorial sucks. The Three Stars were MUCH more worth the effort and time it took to beat it. Of course, if you know how, you can make it so that Omega Weapon’s stats are nothing compared to yours. One time I got my stats to 255 everything (except Evade and Luck) w/o Junctions. That took a looong time and a cool infinite money trick to boot.

Three Stars are the best

Omega weapon was a very hard boss to beat but I felt it was the best part of that whole castle besides the battle with Ultimesia the only thing that angred me was that dame proof of beating Omega

the only joy i got out of beating him was……
i was the only one in my town that beat him so the proof was to show my friends who did’nt believe me..

when i meet hard bosses like that i always record it on video to so people that i done it” for some reason no one wants to believe you??

i can’t remember how i had beaten him exactly because its been so long since ive played it but. i card modded a few cards (i had all the cards) and then joint a few hundred items to get one. something like a holy war grail or something. i used it in the fight and won easily

For me, Omega Weapon is a piece of cake. I have defeated him many times. I only need about 5 minutes to send him to hell…
No cheat man… I have finished FF8 for about 8 times

Omega weapon is as easy as scropian guard on ff7 easy

And I in fact haven’t ever beaten him, I used a Holy War and I hadn’t ever used one before and then I didn’t know that it wore off after so long and by the time that I had figured it out it was too late. 🙁

it took me only about 5 minutes to shoot her down.. I am playing that battle always only for fun, because thats the best battle to play in the game !!� I beated Omega Weapon 15 times.
I had always Squall, Zell and Irvine in my party and every cut with my blade was doing about 9000 – 9999 damage to her!!! Zell wasnt doing a smaller attack with his Limit Break Duel than 6500 HP. I have spent over 4000 hours with tham game !!!

to kill omega you only need ten holy wars and having ervine,zell,and squall with a very good strengh like 200 or more
having a lot of fast and pulse ammo ammo and having zell learned all his skills
and squall with the lion heart

strategy(1)

1.use aura on all
2.everyone must be protected agaisnt dead
3.then use pheonix posion
4.then use the item holy wars
5.and you have the figth won
if the aura time is finished use meteor with a high magic level you should damage him like 500 or more XD

strategy (2)

have selphie in your party in level 100 everyone protected agaisnt dead and use aura in selphie then just do over until you find whee it says"the end" cast it and you’ve won the battle

Omega Weapon is almost invincible. Only way i beat him was using plenty heroes for invincibility. Took a long time to beat him too.

i managed to beat omega without hero’s,

rinoas limit break invincible moon, is what helped me beat him.
i had heros but i didn’t want to use them, he can be beaten without them.

you need to be lucky with rinoas limit/break. 4 times i beat him with that, just to prove a point to my mate, he didn’t believe me at first but when i showed him the video[ i taped it] he kinda of believed me,

then i loaded a block, and done it again..

now he prays to me:)

No, in FFX he is a total pushover, he’s not a challenge. THe normal bosses in the game are harder, those who have played the game will agree with me.

its how you play the game……

some people will go through the game without levelling up properly and then find the bosses hard to beat?

as for me i always level up on disc1, because i know whats a head of me later in the game” ive played this game a few times and been level 75 on disc1, the reason for doing that is..

i would have done it on disc3 anyways” so get done early and there will be no problems.

we all have certain ways of playing FF games, but i find my way to be the better:D
