Why diss pong man? Sure it may not be fun to you now that you have tons of other games, but when it first came out, that’s all there was bud, and I could spend hours and hours playing it… fun stuff.

There’s a 3D version of Pong I had a link for once… I wasted hours trying to beat the computer at that. Frigging hours. Never once made it though. Bastard computer.

Worst Game Ever? Well, there are so many older games I could list, but the thing is time has just been unkind to them. I think Kung Fu on the NES was a nasty side scrolling beat em up with a limited control system, because it WAS a limited control system of punch, kick, and, OH!, JUMP AND PUNCH OR JUMP AND KICK!!! Yeah, I didn’t like it much.

The other one I wasn’t so keen on was Golf on the NES. 18 holes, crappy sound effects, and the scenery all looked the same.

And wasn’t that game Hugo meant to be pretty bad as well? My nephew likes that one. Enough said.

I vote "Custers revenge" for the Atari,point of the game is raping a woman,shamless.

I’ve always wanted to track down Custer’s Revenge, just because of the horror stories I’ve heard about it.

But yeah, there probably will never be a game out there as bad as ET on the atari.

You cant get custers revenge on emulation,and you can get beat em and eat em,ahem where you have to masturbate into womens mouths,no mess this was an OFFICIAL Atari game……crazy.

Not really. Im just shitting with you. I say that Unlimited Saga rates up there with the worst of them. Or maybe a game called Budokahn for the Megadrive. Very crap, slow martial arts game. Or maybe Mortal Kombat Mythologies… so many crap games, so little time.

ATARI RULES!! The only bad games for Atari were E.T. and some other one I don’t know the name of. The games on that were crappy but really fun and I can’t believe your dissing the Atari.

I do agree with the E.T. game. This game looks fun….WOWW!! I am a bunch of squares moving around a screen.OH NO! I fell in an invisible hole and now I’m on another black screen. OH NO! I ran into something. Start over.

never had an atari….trust me tho you need to play shaq-fu….i can honestly say the controller will be out of your hand within the first minute!!!try gettin it on emu…i think it was on the megadrive(genesis)

I would say Pit Fighter, but it is a cult classic. I suppose any of the 2D Mortal Kombats, Clay Fighter, AD&D Heroes of the Lance, most of the DBZ games, the Killer Instinct series, Turok 1 through whatever, all ECW games. I could go on, but seriously . . .

Worst game for me would have to be a tossup between Eternal Ring and Barbarian, both for PS2. Eternal Ring sucks because it’s a first-person RPG. And, well, in my opinion, those types of games are not mention for human eyes. Fortunately, I only played $9 for it, so it wasn’t too much money wasted.

As for Barbarian……. well, it claims to be a fighting game with RPG aspects. That’s a load of bull pucky. The characters are barely upgradable, and only by going through a "story mode" which has absolutely no "story" to it whatsoever. Plus, the AI is interminably difficult. I was never able to get past the first fight! Sheesh. Didn’t pay much for it either, though.

awww, I used to love Killer Instict and Clayfighter when I was little.

clay fighters sucked!!!!! killer instinct on the other hand was topclass for it’s time and still is a great game to beat your friend’s @!!!

I’m only 15 so I haven’t heard of half of these games but I read an interesting article in a mag about if kids like old games from Atari and stuff and you should here the insults they came up with (ex. for pong, "My pink line is so beating the crap out of your plain bland white line.") That article was one of the funniest things I have ever read before.

Yeah those kids were fucking asses to the classics but I laughed sooo damn hard when I read it. If anyone else wants to, I THINK it was in the E3 issue of EGM with Snake on the front but I’m not sure.

Worst Game that I actually own… Crash Bandicoot. Just horrible.

Worst game I’ve ever played, Survival Arts, an arcade game in the mould of the original Mortal Kombat, but soooo unplayable!

Most unplayable game I own, Command and Conquer on the PS1, without a mouse, it’s terrible.

ET on the Atari. This game sucked bigtime! Walk along a path, fall in a hole. THAT’S IT! GAME OVER! No wonder there’s a whole load of them buried somewhere in the Nevada desert!

Worst game I’ve hired out of a videostore :

SeaQuest DSV and Stargate. I loved this shows. I really did. After playing the game versions… I hated them.

Worst game I’ve borrowed from a friend :

Syndicate Wars on the PSX. I loved the original Syndicate, and the expansion for it. It was great! Trenchcoat wearing cyborgs hiding eight powerful weapons under their coats and then pull the weapons out and blow up any vehicles or blow away any civillians or police around. I thought the sequel was going to be good… but on the PSX… it sucked.

Worst game I’ve owned :

Where do I start…. Well, one of them being Tokimeki Memorial 2. Only reason I didn’t like it, it’s in Japanese. I know some italian and (I know it’s not a real language! My former friend taught me it!) Klingon from Star Trek. Only got it because I’ve heard of it and thought it’d be good for a laugh. Only paid $5 AUS on eBay for it. Second worst game…Drakkhen on the SNES. Didn’t like it, even if it was the very first RPG on the SNES.
