Without them, us FF Fans would’nt be able too play the good old classics, without having too buy either, a SNES, NES, or buy the re-released PS1 versions..
I own 300 Emulators! Cause there so damn good!
And now i’ve played every FF In the world…
What are your opinions/views on the gods called "Emulators"…
:eye:
EDIT:
Now for my reply. ^^
I love Emus, I have a SNES one and I can’t think of what I’d do without it. I play all sorts of retro RPGs on there and they’re fabulous!
I’m gonna leave this open for now, but with one very strict rule. Do not post any links to any emulators or any ROMs. The moment I see anything like that, I’ll close it.
As for emulators: I reckon the gaming companies like Nintendo and Sega are missing out on a market here. In my opinion, there are plenty of gamers out there who would pay money to buy a legally licensed emulator made by the said video game company, and then pay a set amount to download a ROM legally, or buy them on disk.
Similarly, there are CDs available with retro Spectrum and Amiga games upon them, and those, as far as I know, are strictly legal.
If Nintendo or Sega actually decide to do a licensed thing like this to run on PCs, they could make a killing on the market, so to speak. I mean, the SNES and Megadrive are obsolete anyways, only hardcore gamers own them. So… Why not release emulators for us to buy? I know I’d bend over backwards to buy emulation versions of Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Shining Force and Shining Force 2, Phantasy Star… The list goes on.
Have a nice day…I want you soul….
I actually own a SNES and a Nintendo ๐
I savior my gaming systems ๐
I actully have an original copy of Final Fantasy 1 in good condition =)
You’re right when you say they’re missing out on a market though. At least Nintendo is porting a lot of great games *cough*river city ransom*cough* over to the GameBoySP.
Isn’t there are way to turn your dreamcast into an emulator? I recall reading about it somewhere or other.
I’m against illegal emulation ๐
I made the personal investment in a jamma board/Neo-geo six-slot arcade machine because I believed so furvently that one should own the game if they like it.
Though I have played games on emulator before buying them :p
It can be hard to get the game you want if it is old. Emulators releave this. I personally rarely use Emu’s because I don’t have much time for games that don’t visually excite me ๐
…Oh well.. -shrugs-
