Sooo, what do you think makes Cloud into what he is?
Like most people they usually cant get what they want most in life and in this case cloud couldnt be with Tifa, he was "Deprived" of a child hood love. He was lonely and to make things worse when Tifa fell of the cliff he was to blame making him even more of an outcast and become self loving. These things proved to mould his character to be the type of person who while on the out side may seem like he doesnt care about anything but on the inside he really truly does. He copes with real like issues in his child hood not to mention a cool sword and what happens in the game.
These traits I truly see why i think Cloud is my all time favourite fictional character.
My perferred method to distributing this is via Bittorrent. The file size will be around 17-20 mb and well… video editing on this thing kinda sucks… it’s not total crap at all, it’s just that I could of done WAY better with the editing.
The recent revision for this file, after encoding it into mpeg-1 format, is 20,983,812 bytes… or give or take, 20 MB. It features clips from 4 games… well, 3 games and a movie. They are…

Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children
Now, I know that Cloud appears in 2 other main games (if theres more, tell me), they are Kingdom Hearts and Chocobo Racing. The reason why I didn’t include Kingdom Hearts… well, to simply put, I can’t get good shots of him without taking a long time playing the game. As for Chocobo Racing, I simply don’t have the game.
The gameplay video was taken with a capture card… it’s a value capture card so it’s not the best image quality in the world. The shots were taken directly from my PS2 (and the PSX with a Gameshark on it for FFT… because sending Cloud in alone in FFT (or even any other unit) is suicide) and all the button pressing was done by me.
And to end my constantly blabbering….. it took me 2 weeks to get to where I am right now and I hope that this will make all the Cloud fans and Final Fantasy fans and Sephiroth haters and all that stuff… enjoy this video. AND I also hope that this video will find it’s way around the net and uh… MAYBE it’ll rival against Atom (formally known as AtomX) and his FF9 Video… but I think that won’t happen…. I’m not even using a mainstream song and I know jack crap about AMVs… haha

the thing that i think makes cloud so cool, is that he imbodies everything that every person strives to be. regardless of the bad things that happen when we are kids ( in clouds case it is being outcasted by everyone and labelled as different), once we reach a certain age, we want to go far away, become very powerful or successful, then come back and impress everyone. the reason everyone loves cloud so much is that he managed to do this

the other thing which we relate to him which makes him so human like, is that he will do anything to obtain this, even if it means joining soldier and even stealing the life of someone else (Zack). but even after he came to terms with it, he was still who he was, and who he turned out to be was a kick ass person

but anyway most people dont kno much bout his character and only think hes cool cos his sword and his style but also in life he would be a short stocky guy.
actualy, that why i like him.
his past is a mystory to me.
that what i like in most of square’s heros – they got a shadowed past.
will to kill was made even stronger when he thirsted for her avengement.
I envy him very much.. even if he does show up in a ton of games & he’s the main person of the screen.. it dosen’t mean he’s less amazing.
He’s opposite from Emo, he’s EmotionLess.
And I hate how people hate him for how Square Enix made him. He’s a very inspirational, strong, pure, and emotionless person.
He has something about him that just sticks out of black & white.
I don’t know about others, but he gives me strength.
He’s his own self.. and he may of wanted to be a SOLDIER just to impress Tifa.. but still.. he’s no poser.
He knows it wasn’t worth it now since Tifa treated him poorly when they were little..
But Cloud.. is my favorite character besides Zack.
There’s just something about the air about Cloud.. he’s just someone I’d look up to for strength.
This is what makes him Cloud Strife. His presence and personality.
He’s unique in my eyes.
Everything. Its just everything. His Past. His Sword (OKay it was Zacks…but Zack gave it to him so noone stole anything 😉 ). His love for Aeris to go After her even though she said no. His Speeches. Everything just fits perfectly.
