Hellsing, info. anyone??

I recently saw Hogan’s sig. of Hellsing, and well this now has lead me to find out more of this anime…so I decided to post this up to see if anyone can help me out by teaching me more of this anime. You know what is it about??,characters??,where can I get it??,etc. Thanks to everyone who replies!!!

They have the first DVD at target now. You can get them all anywhere Anime is sold because Hellsing Rocks! There are four DVDs total.

Buy the soundtracks if you want them, seriously. If people just download them, they aren’t going to release them over here anymore.

Anyhow, finding Hellsing anything should be extremely easy. The dvd is at pretty much any place that carries anime, and while I am not a big fan of the hellsing manga, they have it at pretty much any place that carries manga.

The first season of the anime Hellsing is thirteen episodes long and so far I believe two –maybe three– volumes of the manga the anime was based upon have been released (english version by Dark Horse)
I have heard that there is supposed to be a second season of the anime but the manga artist was upset with the anime so I’m not sure.(probably just a rumor)

I haven’t watched the Anime of Hellsing, yet, but the manga is very good. So far, there are 2 volumes in English from Dark Horse Comics. But I heard much of the humor from the anime is lost in the manga. *Still great manga, though ^^*

Its Hellsing he manga then its about vampires/zombies the hellsing organisation is made to kill vampires…but they find out that the vampires they fight r not original vampire like Alucard the vampire who hhelps the hellsing org…..the vampires they fight were made by implanting a chip in to there brains i think …..and alucard is the main char aswel as the police girl cant remember her name ……well alucard is a real not made vamp like the chip ones he can usee black magic and have levels he can put his powers up to and i think that lvl 1 is the highest ……. well thats all i know about the hellsing the manga 😀 …..

I like Hellsing but Arucard *shudders* creeps me out.

@ Ndi, Thats a way you can look at it… But here’s an other way:
I only buy games/music/apps when they ar worth the money.
I don’t know yet, so I’ll download them. If they are good enough, I’ll delete them and buy the CD’s. That’s what I did with the OST of FF-X, and many other games/apps/music…

The second problem is that they don’t sell those soundtracs here.
I would need to order them on the internet, and I just don’t thrust the internet…

I think they chose Alucard specifiacally because it was Dracula spelt backwards, him being a vampire and all.

And I guess that In the second serie of Hellsing will be the answers to all the questions …

Alucard is insane but he is very intelligent and cunning. Not to mention how powerful he is. . . . I have a feeling that the series is going to turn very dark. I hope it doesn’t because I’m going to get really freaked out.

No. The series is supposed to be dark.

I just can’t stand Alucard. I think the only character that just creeps me out as much as him is Taishakuten fom the manga, RG Veda by Clamp.

I don’t think so. I think the manga is still going and I’m not sure what is going on with the anime.

Well, at the end of the last serie, you get a lot of questions.
Why is she locked up by the royal guard after doing so much for her country?
What is he going to do?
Why is he serving her?
Who is he realy?
What has become of the Hellsing operation? (I can guess it actualy)
and lots of more questions …

I’m troubled ’cause it stops in such a exciting piece…

Um . . . I think the anime was released in Japan in 2002 (maybe 2001) and it was only thirteen episodes.
As I mentioned before they were planning to make more episodes but the manga artist was displeased about the first season so I don’t know what’s going on.
I heard that a long time ago too. I don’t know if things have changed or not, or even if there was really a dispute it could be just a rumor.

Ah. I do the same thing myself. I misunderstood what you were saying and I took you for one of those people who refuse to spend money on music- I was wrong, and I apologize.

I’m sure you’ll love the Hellsing soundtrack. The music is sublime, and they have such creative names for songs.

I just came back from Walden’s bookstore and I’m happy to say that they have volume three of the manga out now. (Sigh) I would buy it but it’s $14 per volume.

I thought it was released like in 98 but I am probally wrong. I also heard that they will not continue with the anime series which saddens me, but since that could just be an rumor I am still hoping.

I seriously doubt they’ll continue the Hellsing anime, but it’s always possible. Cowboy Bebop came out in 1998 in Japan, and a brand new video game is currently in the works.

And what are you people talking about? Alucard is one of the coolest vampire characters ever. I just wish there was a real fight between him and someone that showed him using his full powers and such, other than that one with that vampire in Hellsing headquarters, that guy turned chicken shit real fast. I mean a real fight.
