Has anyone noticed some of the strange names of anime?

Well as far as strange names go….i would think that ‘basterd’, ‘dirty pair flash’ and ‘marmalede boy’ are the strangest!

ive never seen these animes, but i have a few pics of them….in ‘basterd’, there is a man that is(in mostly ever pic ive got of the anime) naked, holding girls on chains like slaves…(boy, the guy that made that must have some issuses)…in ‘dirty pair flash’ its just 2 girls…..no flashing what-so-ever…….they’re just a couple of girls that are decently dressed and have little guns…..(i dont get why they called it that)…and in ‘marmalede boy’….the pics did give much away…..just a girl in a dress in the middle of a park with blooming cherryblossoms, and the petals falling around her….theres also a guy with blonde hair in a few….but i really dont know much about it…..

anyone seen any other animes with strange names?

None of those really make much sense.

I have several shelves full of anime 5 feet from me right now and it could take me all day to list every one with a wierd name. Those are just the ones I can see from the angle I’m at now.

i guess they’re all pretty weird named in a sence…but i mean really weird!..who would watch something call bastard? or marmalede boy?…oh! my goddess! is alright…its about a goddess….lian is alright….you get the point im trying to make dont you? i mean like weird weird!….but i guess that s-CRY-ed fits that but the other tree are all right…..well the bubb. crisis and trigun not so much…but full metal panic is good….ill give them ratings:

I really don’t think []iBastard[/i] is such a wierd name because the main character is – Guess what! – a bastard. And it’s about him being a bastard.

Bubblegum Crisis Should have an 8.
I thought it starnge when there wasn’t even the mention of Bubblegum.

Trigun isn’t all that strange if you ask me.

i think bubble. should be a little higher….mebe….but trigun stays the way it is…..though it does have gun in the name which is hinting……ill keep them as they are…..how can you make an anime entirely bacsed on someone being a….well…bastard?? uh….what kind are you talking about?? the ‘no father’ one or the insulting one?

All I can recall of the meaning of Trigun is

Third Gun.
And something about Vash having one.

haha happy now? i havent seen any of these animes so tell me if you think my ratings should be higher or lower….

Vash has his main gun, that we all know so well.

In one of the later episodes, they show he has a gun built into his body, at the wrist.

And, near the end, he also has Wolfwood’s gun.

Three guns.

But he also had Knives’ gun earlier. So that makes four guns.

Knives is his brother isnt he?…well ive never seen trigun…but it must be kind of wacky…ive got a picture of him running down a corridor, being shot at….and there’s a hotdog hanging out his mouth!

Does vash have a ‘thing’ about donuts or something?

yes, he does.

well im probably gonna spoil it for you but oh well! its called trigun because he has three guns! one regular silver gun, one thats built into his arm that looks like a normal gun, and one that is scarily freaky built into his other arm that can destroy a huge city with one blast or something like that…it ight also be caled trigun because he’s so fast its as if he has 3 arms.

i really really really want to see trigun!
