"Bring my beloved Dagger to me!" That line was great. My brother told me something similar was going to happen so I wasn’t surprised. I just don’t understand why Regent Cid adopted Eiko! It’s just weird. Anyways, great game Squaresoft! We finally beat it…Now my brother has to beat FF8…He already did 7….

I only have one question….why on Gods great earth did you beat 9 before you finished 8? not only is 8 better then 9, but why would you waste your time? i beat 9, but the only reason i played it was because it was called " final fantasy", but other then that, the name was the only thing that brought me back again and again. it even took songs and crap from the other games, including 8 and 7. One of the most rushed, re-hashed games i have ever played…..but i hope YOU enjoyed it 😀

How…. how could you prefer 8 over 9 !?
9 it probably the second best in the series (next to VI)
while 8 is… 8 is just sad…. I mean I know it’s your opinion, and I… guess I should respect it but…. dude, rare taste.
FF9 was good i loved it the only thing that sucks about it
was that it was to way to easy but it still was good
the best are order are FF7 FF3 FF8 FF9 FF6 FFXI FFX FFX-2 FF4 FF5 FF1 FF2
that was my opinion
so why are you saying

lol 🙂
To say I only played a game for its called "Final Fantasy" is also really nonsense. For this is not the way a fan should act, now is it?! Both Final Fantasy parts had their good and wonderful moments and their bad ones.
Back to the topic. This was some kind of spam… =_=
When my sister and I beat the final boos we sat back and watched the ending with a real happiness. =D We were so happy and then when Kuja appaered the last time we were sad. =_= Oi~ I felt sorry for him, I really did— even if he destroyed my favourite cities— agh~ that doesnt matter— (-)
XD
The reason why Eiko adopted herself to Cid was that she didnt want to be alone anymore— she didnt ask Cid but he didnt seem unpleased… shes a nice girl, now is she?! =)
After Zidane dissappeared it was rather plain hed return and so we waited and watched and then after hed thrown away his cape and shouted: "Bring my beloved Dagger to me!"
we were happy! =D
It was a great ending. The kind of endings I love. World saved, everybody happy! =) Easy~
"Lady Auron" 😎
And like she said, sucha discussion is stupid enough. >.<
Stay on topic, and don’t turn this into a dumb thread. 🙁
Of course, everyone feels down thinking Zidane is gone. Then we get the play at the end with the mysterious cloaked stranger. I could guess who is was going to be, but it didn’t stop me from crying when Zidane and Garnet embraced right at the end. That was an awesome, awesome, awesome way to sum things up. A brilliant ending. 🙂
I didn’t think it was that odd that Regent Cid adopted Eiko. She would have wound up being around him an awful lot of the time after everyone returned, and he and his wife didn’t have any children of their own.
Besides, she’s so loveable. ^^
How could anyone not want to adopt Eiko? 😉
