What’s the funniest FF game line? You tell me!

My thoughts:
Eiko: "Where are they going? Ugh, what a bimbo!"

Nothing can really top that one.

I can’t remember what he said, but when Cloud is in the hot tub at the Honey Bee Inn, in the Wall Market with all those men. Ha, ha, ha! He was obviously really uncomfortable.

When Zell lets it out that the ppl attacking the president are SeeDs. You couldn’t see Zells face – but if you could … ^_^.

Well, except for Garnet’s response when Zidane says it was an accident: "Don’t worry, I trust you." *slams door in Zidane’s face as she walks away*.

I can’t remember exactly what it is, but Kefka said some really really bad pun on the floating continent that had me roffling.

Personally my favourite is when Squall and Rinoa are in the Garden when it’s drifting in the sea. Rinoa asks Squall to give a tour of the Garden and when you go to the infirmary Kadowaki asks if Rinoa is Squall’s girlfriend. If you choose the right responses it’s really funny.

I think that the funniest FF game story-line is Final Fantasy X-2, that game was a joke right?

I found it funny when Kefka said,

"Wait? Do I look like a waiter?"

I don’t know why but that made me laugh like crazy.

"WHY?!" by Cecil…. "Why" exactly? Well, it was just funny when I saw it… just imagine Cecil going "WHY?!" like a "omgwtfbqq" kind of way.

Another would be "AHHH!" when talking to a fireplace… same reason.

The only time I’ve actually laughed properly from what a character said is in FFX, although the line itself isn’t funny.

Just before fighting Evrae, Rin is waiting at the bottom of the lift. Take a look at his inventory then exit.

Wakka: We gotta pay?!! Hey if we die out there, it’ll be your fault!

I think it’s the way he says it and his accent that makes it funny. but only for me, I have a weird sense of humour…

I have to agree with the wonderful Kefka quote. I actually giggled out loud, it just has a great ring to it, doesn’t it?

Although the best is probably from FFVII, correct me for I don’t remember it exactly, especially punctuation-wise:

In final fantasy VII when Cloud has to dress up for Corneo’s mansion, he walks into the bar to talk to the father of the clothes shop lady, he just blurts out "Make me some clothes!!" Not even a please!

It was in the building where Shadow and Interceptor are at the bar. Forgot the name of the town, but one of the regulars inside the building says that if you talk with him.

I thought It was funny in FFVII when you get off the Shinra chargo ship and you see Barret in the sailor suit.

Aeris: Oh too bad. I liked Barret’s sailor suit. He looked so cute.

Barret: What’ya mean cute?

Tifa: Right well, uh Barret, why don’t you use that sailor suit for pajamas? Right, Cloud?

I just though It would be funny seeing Barret using a sailor suit for pajamas.

i restarted FFIII (american) last night again for the umpteenth time and found something funny
(while walking around as Terra and standing by a table in the returner hideout) Someone dropped a scrap of paper
Choice 1: Leave it
Choice 2: Toss it in the trash
i chose leave it and then banon calls for everyone to meet.
Banon: Who left this piece of paper here? *goes over to a pot and tosses the paper in.

Kefka from FFVI has some hilerious lines, but i cant remember much of them now. I just know i was cracking up like a crazyman when i was playing it.
FF9 and FF7 have some damn funny lines in them as well, but the best has to be in FFX. If you put yourself in the dirtiest frame of mind possile and then watch the scene where Yuna and Tidus are talking by the sphere pool in Macalania woods before going for a swim, its as funny as all hell, and makes you wonder what they got up to once the scene ended and faded to black.

Well, most FF’s had a lot of twisted lines in them… but i must say, that FF10 really hit the top. In the european version it sounds like they translated the Japanese too literally at times, and that really makes them say lots of weird things..

Dunno if anyone else noticed it. but after playing it 3 times… it still sounded weird.
Nyways, FFX-2 was even worse, but that was cus the game was a bit too childisch to even be a decent final Fantasy

Cid says somthing like ‘Thats why they get so anal’ when you first talk to him in the rocket ship, and choose the top option – I just replayed that bit, and had to re-read it to make sure I was seeing things…
Anal…like they (shinra) try and bum him?

FFX: the conversation between Lulu, Wakka, and Tidus, just before they leave Besaid village, the morning after Yuna becomes a summoner… when Lulu’s teasing her about the amount of stuff she wants to take on the Pilgrimage, also the scene after Tidus goes into to (is it Djose Temple, where you get Ixion, anyhow??) to wake Yuna, cause she’s been up all night healing people injured in the failed(!) Operation Mi’ihen. Anyhow, I think the FMV where the others all tease her, n she gets wound up’s funny as hell!!!!

FFVIII:

I love the scene when Squall & Laguna first meet face to face in the President’s chamber in Esthar, and Squall tells Laguna exactly what he thinks of him!! hehe!!!

Quistis: As an expert Squall observer, I can predict exactly what he’s thinking….
