Do you have to just read the backof the game to be convinced or must you read a review, or play a demo..?
Also i wondered what would make a type of game itself, in better wording what would make a FPS good and original etc.
Anmy opinions as to answering my forst and second questions.
I just have a knack for getting the good ones.
Also, if something happens to catch my eye, is pretty cheap, and my friends at EB say decent things about it, I’ll pick it up and give it a try.
Other games I get are game that I’ve played round a friends or a demo I guess. Trailers help.
But recently I haven’t bought many games. I just buy the ones that I know of and I like them.
For lesser known games, I usually become aware of them after reading a review or hearing about it from a friend. Occasionally, I just pass by one and decide it looks interesting, so I’ll research it a bit.
There’s one friend in particular whose taste in games runs so parallel to mine that it’s scary, so I’ll buy most anything he recommends. The only things we differ on are Final Fantasy games. He loves VII and I don’t. I love IX and he hates it.
Then, theres reviews and previews which help the newer games intorduced.
