Tenchi!!

i love tenchi from tenchi muyo! so i thought i’d make a thread about him!

what are your views on the anime? (and/or tenchi!)

Uhh… Tenchi is a crappy character from an overblown B-grade anime.

But don’t be so quick to yell "That’s just your opinion!" I could give you a good argument about why it really is like I said, so if you want to claim it’s just my opinion, you should offer something to back that statement up.

um i didn’t mean it that way, but other people like it too you know, you can just go around saying that the anime and its characters are crappy, sometimes that doesn’t matter, people like it for the story or the charaters or the animation.

it is your opinion of the anime though and mine is that it’s good. we think differently of it, end of story.

but i still think tenchi’s great! you can give me a list of what’s wrong with it or what makes it so bad or flaws in the animation or the voice/sound/music…….but i’ll still love it

you can’t change my mind, but if you feel you have to list these flaws and state that the anime is a bad creation, feel free to post your comments, i can’t stop you

To make it perfectly clear, I have no problem with you liking it. I don’t want to change your mind or anything. I merely stated that it is mediocre at best. If you want to debate that, then all you have to do is say what you think makes it good and I will respond. Otherwise, the matter is dropped.

well, seeing as how i haven’t seen the anime in about 4-5 years i wont debate it

i love it though! its doesnt matter if its nothing special still love it, i dont actuly remember anything, just that ryyo-ohki can turn human and into a ship, thats all

still like it, dying to see it again!

I must confess it’s been a long time since I’ve seen any Tenchi. It’s not bad, but I never could really get into it. If the series was more like the first episode, I probably would’ve liked it more.

Agreed, I liked the first episode as well. One thing that bothered me though is that all these chicks hit on Tenchi and it looked like he didn’t care. I think he was gay.

i don’t remember the first episode….i don’t remember any lol but i liked the music and the episode entrance (what’s that called?) was the first episode where he is training and his sword starts glowing and the shrine opens up? or is that just what my imagination wants me to think?

I saw Tenchi Muyo and I think it’s a pretty good anime series. But one thing confuses me about it is that they had other Tenchi spin-offs to it, like Tenchi in Tokyo and another one that had Mioshi’s(sp?) blue-haired freind in it and they had like two of the seires where all the girls meet Tenchi in different ways from each other.

But anyways I liked all the Tenchi seires, especially the fights between Ayeka and Ryoko.

I love Tenchi!Its like one my fav anime’s.I like the Tenchi in tokyo episodes.Oh yea and i like the Tenchi in love move it was really nice ^-^

Tenchi was one of my favorite animes of all time! I love Ayeka and Ryoko! They Rock! I love Sasami too! How can you not love Sasami? She’s the cutest little girl! Ryo-ohki too! My favorite anime animal of all time!

The white one’s name in Ken-ohkei, something like that.

No you’re right; they do turn into ships in the anime. Ryoko throw Ryo-ohki into the air(looks like animal abuse) then Ryo-ohki transforms into the ship. Ryo-ohki and Ken-ohkei are also in love oooo! Ken-ohkei’s male, and Ryo-ohiki’s female.

really? i always thought that Ryo-ohki was male and ken-ohkei was female….ahh well!

i like the way Ryoko and Ayeka always fight over tenchi!

Nope; I remember somewhere in the anime Ryoko and Sasami said Ryo-ohki was female and Nagi said Ken-ohki was male. I don’t remember which part though; it’s been ages since I’ve seen that part.

Hey Tenchi fans; today, I bought the large fully posable Ryoko action figure! Sorry, not bragging, but just excited 😀 ;)!! I remember they used to have Tenchi and Ayeka as well of the figures; they’re really nice!
