Seifer is what he is. Sure, he’s got issues, but he does have two friends who are very loyal, but who aren’t afraid to tell him the truth when push comes to shove. He has regrets, but he turns out okay in the end.

True… I guess those sort of characters (like Seifer and his cohorts) are the ones which can grow the most over the course of a story. Sides… everyone wants to have at least one loyal friend to watch their back.
