Definately Naruto because I just simply love. I donm’t really care if others tell me how stupid I am to like it, but definately I’m deeply touch by the stories behind each charcters’ life. I’m easily touch with emotional stories so this manga really gets to me. I know exactly how hurt it is to not be acknowledge by anyone.
Also I"s because of it’s superior drawings. I am truly amazed by this artist’s drawings. Two thumbs up for that.
Last but not least "Mars" a manga about various aspect in life which discuss many issues in life……like insect btwn step father and daughter, love between two persons living in a totally diff world, and issue with family problems….etc. This manga is a whole different style of drawing from any of the previous style I see so far…..Truly unique style added to it.
Seriously, I have a lot of respect for the author of Mars, though I’ve only read a bunch of short stories of hers, none of the longer series. >:
I also like her drawing style, but I cannot say it looks very different from other styles I’ve seen lately. It goes in the same directions as a lot of shojo styles… Which hardly matters, anyway.
So, "best" manga? Impossible to say. I consider a lot of series really good, and love them, but they are often so different, it’s just impossible to compare them to one another…
You see, I just cannot answer this question seriously. Stuff does come to my mind, Monster, Naru Taru, Blade of the Immortal, + Anima, Hikaru no Go, Hunter X Hunter….. o_O……. and yet, to each I’d probably know a weakness, something to complain about, that could have been better, that prevents the manga from being perfect….. ;______;
So I’ll just say: Cyborg Kuro-chan!
DragonQuest: Dai no Daibouken
Yawara!
I haven’t been collecting any manga of late but I do buy the weekly Jump. I most look forward to (in no order):
Death Note
Eyeshield 21
Busou Renkin
Ichigo 100% (although things go WAY out of hand sometimes)
and from time to time, Prince of Tennis gets interesting.
