I bought it feeling excited, thinking that i was buying the sequel to a great game like Final Fantasy X, and what do i get?
Was Square feeling to lazy to make a good game? >:O
I think that while X-2 isn’t quite the epic that FFX was, it is still a very authentic and fine RPG. Once you get over the Japenese kookiness, you really begin to appreciate more. Whilst some scenes remind you of a mix of Charlie’s Angels and Sailor Moon, others make you also follow the story and realise that this game is good for several things such as the semi real time battle engine for hardcore fast paced combat, the polished graphics and fixed clipping issues, multiple endings, and the addition of so many side quests and mini games which equate to majority of FFX’s playing time, so the game is just as big.
I think that both games have both their strengths and weaknesses, and sometimes FFX-2 feels like an add-on, when it is a finely produced RPG.

To answer your question, no i have not QUITE passed the game on 100%, i kinda didn’t bother with all this digging in the desert stuff, but i have passed the game excluding some small things.
The things that bother me are:
The storyline (this is just an opinion so don’t get abused or anything, not that i thought anyone would be, Prak) is not what i would have expected from the sequel to FFX. FFX’s storyline kept you gripped every second of the way. In ffx-2, i constantly struggled to keep myself interested.
The battle system, does anyone miss the sphere grid and customizable weapons? Well i do! And what in the world possessed them to use DRESS SPHERES?!?!? Well i hope i don’t get any more abusive messages. Keep that for msn messenger!
Look, will you just piss off and stop bothering me?
*moved*
no but seriously i personaly think that they only made ffx-2 because they thought "well hey the 1st one was a success why dont we make another and give it a nice title like ffx-2 we could make loads of money just because of the title not the content"
son of a glitch that game was bad
So what? Your personal preference has no impact on whether it was a good game or not. And all evidence points to good.
what evidence??
fan satisfaction?
i personaly want the creators to die

I agree with that. Why couldn’t they just leave FFX’s many good thing such as turn based fighting, weapon modification, summoning and so on, and not put in things like, ATB and DRESS SPRES (DRESS SPHERES? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?)
You are stuck with the same 3 characters throughout the whole game, and they are annoying 90% of the time.
I sent the game back to the shop the week after I got it, and I’ve never regreted it.
I reckon they are the crapppiest, lamest, most annoying thing that ever entered a Final Fantasy game. I’m serious.
