Favourite Rpg moment

Whats your favourite moment in an Rpg whether it be a visual effect, a revelation in the story or an achievement in a battle.

My favourite moment is when Tidus finds out the final aeon Will kill yuna if she summons it. I also like the beggining in FF8 the best FMV ever

Though I hate the game, I think Chrono Cross has the best opening I’ve seen. However, I haven’t played many of the newer games, so my opinion is a bit skewed.

*spoiler — not that I expect many people to actually play Dragon Warrior 4*

I’ve always thought the part of Dragon Warrior 4 where the Hero’s village gets destroyed is pretty dramatic as well.

I also like the FMV after you beat Evrae for the first time when your characters are sliding down the ropes

I liked the opening scenes to Chrono Cross and FFVIII as well. I perfer the Chrono Cross Opening more though.
I also really liked The Sending at Killika in FFX and the summoning of Alexander in FFIX.

All the scenes to Final Fantasy 10 and the scene of Yang saving Cecil and group in Final Fantasy 4 are my favorites.

Actually, my favorite scene in FFVI was when Terra first uses magic, and your other characters stop in the middle of the fight to talk about it and then swoooooon their way off of the screen.

I don’t have an overall favorite moment in an RPG though.But… uh, favorite battle would probably be the final fight against Luca Blight in Suikoden 2. That was excellent.

The entire ending of FF8.

Ya know what I discovered? At other forums, ff8 seems to be the fave. Guess to non-ff lovers it is the best or some shit.

my favorite rpg moment was the whole space scenario in ff8. it was very romantic and cool.

I’ve said this before, but my favorite RPG moment was Kain’s decision at the end of Blood Omen.

i loved the opening of FFVIII and the ending of FFX there were great

In FFIX the battle between Bahamut and Silver Dragon on the tree of life. Also when Invincible takes over Bahamut. Pretty much all the FFIX FMV’s were awsome and action packed.

FF8 had one of the best starting videos as well as CC.

Man Ive played CC way too many times. I can remember the lines almost everyone says!

Back to the topic at hand…

My fav RPG moment, would be from the Sega Dreamcast. The first from Skies of Arcadia, when Vyse, Fina, Aika and Enrique blast out of Valua’s armoured gate with thanks to the moonstone cannon of the Delphinus. Also, when you encounter the Purple Gigas, Raknam (SP? Can’t remember, haven’t played it for awhile… Damn.).

The second would go to Shenmue II, also on the Dreamcast, was the opening of the game, when you Ryo arrives in Tokyo aboard the frieghter. The whole game is a masterpiece, IMO.

I thought it was cool when you had to knock the shuuya soldiers off of their motorbikes and fight them

my fav scene is the begining in f10 where they have the blitzball tournament and sin comes and destroys zanarkand that was cool!,i also liked the begining in ff8.
