I’m gon’ walk down this road
And I’m gonna smile
I may be poor, I may be heartbroken
But I’m gonna smile
Everyday is glorious day
And life is crazy
The sun may shine
The rain may pour
All I can do is smile
The changes will come
And some things will never change
Either way it goes, all I can do is smile
soul by soul i rip lovers apart,
they cast me out so i could die,
not knowing i’d never cry,
question my sins by trail and blood,
and hang my by neck from a peice of wood.
theres my sad attempt at anything poetic. god, i’m so depressed. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllllllllllp.
LMFAO hahaha.
I’m gon’ walk down this road
And I’m gonna smile
I may be poor, I may be heartbroken
But I’m gonna smile
Everyday is glorious day
And life is crazy
The sun may shine
The rain may pour
All I can do is smile
The changes will come
And some things will never change
Either way it goes, all I can do is smile
It’s very simple, and straight forward, but I think that lends the poem’s meanings to us readers.
What I think the poem evokes, is the idea that whatever life brings you wether sun or rain, good or bad, all you can do is smile, i.e. bear it with good intentions/bear it to the best of your abilities and not let it get to you and continue living, trying to be content.
I like this poem, it’s a nice message, and I could use this kind of message once in a while.
Thanks.
