prty dissapointed with Fable

Almost every RPG I’ve ever played, I’ve played through at least one more time. I mean, its a given, right? ‘Cos lots of secrets you miss the first time, trying to get that hidden weapon, missed spells, whatever.

So, Fable. With its whole premise, you’d expect it to scream out to be played through a second time. LOL.

I completed it as an evil son of a bitch. I then went around, finding and mopping up stuff I missed. I wasn’t sure, but I thought I’d either mopped up EVERYTHING, or it was just really really well hidden. My curiosity got the better of me, and I checked out Gamefaqs. Seems I had mopped up everything.

So like, why bother playing the game again, as a goody-two-shoes, just to look a bit more flowery than I did last time ?_?

Plus, the final boss was just a joke. Actually, I don’t think I died once while facing a single boss.

What kind of RPG is this? ;_;

I bought it when it came out on the Xbox, and I still haven’t played it through. The storyline was pretty yawn-worthy. When it comes to action-RPGs, Jade Empire is king.

I thought the gameplay for Fable was pretty neat. I had a lot of fun fighting stuff.

It wasn’t as great as everyone hoped it would be, and it could have been a lot better, yes. But I enjoyed it, and I do think it was a good game.

Hopefully Fable on the PC will be everything we thought the XBox version would be.

Me too.

Although after i finished it i went back and played some more. Fine, it wasn`t the greatest RPG ever but i enjoyed it. But above all else, i enjoyed messing with the socirty and the social structure of the towns and inhabitants.

I borrowed it from a friend and enjoyed it a lot but it was short. But it isn’t as short as people say! If you do the sidequests and find everything that’s gonna take a while to complete

Why not? It was only about two weeks old; plus, it could spawn more discussion seeing as how Fable: The Lost Chapters is set to release pretty soon.

I’ve heard all the hype about Fable, and from what I’ve seen/played (which has been very little), it’s not as good as it was said to be. Then again, pretty much every game these days is overhyped. But I’ll most likely pick up F: TLC; hopefully it will release at a fair price too.

Yeah I didn’t even know it was old! Me Too hopefully it is gonna be good cause i really like the idea of fable and the story and all so it will probly be good but hey game developers today can screw up any concept^^

Yeah I played Fable through twice when i had to return it:-( And i was still ready to go for another round. There is so many things in Fable that you can do so to everyone Fable rules! Oh and if you just want to play it, rent it! You should be able to complete it in a day! If you game alot…

Fable was wonderful in gameplay and visuals. It was funny and enjoyable. Sure it was a bit short and it was over hyped but lets give it some credit. Fable is truly a great game and wasn`t as bad as your spouting it off as.

Actually I personally enjoyed Fable a lot, though I do think it had some major flaws. Unlike many RPGs that I have played, once you beat the final boss you could not do anymore quests. Hopefully when it comes out for pc with the Lost Chapters they will have tweeked it more than a little bit.

Incorrect. If you let the end credits run, you get to continue questing.

Before I played Fable, I never knew anything about the hype, so I had very little expectations from it but once I stared playing it, I became instantly addicted to it and it turned out to be one of my favourite action RPGs. I can understand why there would be a lot of people dissapointed by it if they followed the hype but luckily for me, I enjoyed it a lot more without following the hype.

Well, I just bought Fable: The Lost Chapters and was very annoyed when I realised my PC wasnt powerful enough. Silly me. So I am waiting to upgrade/replace my PC so I can play it.
