Shenmue Reflections by Reuben Kee is a very nice piano remix . . . Very soothing.

I’ve sent in 3 arrangements to Ocremix and had them all rejected because I used fruityloops with no original samples. But I really like the

Star Ocean – Summertime track. It not a memorable track in the game but harmony (remixer) turned it into a rockin’ tune.

Also from Chrono Trigger: When all hope has faded by Zircon. It’s the ballad that plays when you die in chrono trigger. Amazing.

For the record, I really like Vgmix.com a lot more. They let you submit midi mp3 files so if you’re an amateur with little to no experience remixing music, it’s an awesome way to start expressing their own emotions (because that’s what I believe music to be).

Remixing your favourite tunes feels really good. I can post some of the best vgmixes if anyone’s interested. Their total archive, including WIPs is several times larger than Ocremix due to their lenient restrictions

This has been my favorite since I first heard it. I wasn’t a big fan of the first Soulblazer game, but the level of professionalism and the quality of the mixing in this piece makes it one of most underrated mixes I’ve seen on this site. I still haven’t tired of listening to it.
