1. Is there a reason (meaning – have the makers of the game given any statement) regarding why there are only Aeons corresponding to three of the four elements? There is a Water-Aeon in FFVIII, but there isn’t one in X.
2. Each temple have one Fayth which the Summoner prays to and comes in contact with. In Bevelle Temple you get to see how the Fayth "enters" Yuna’s body.
So how come there are several summoners going on their pilgrimage at the same time? I haven’t understood how they are able to summon one and the same Aeon (Fayth) at the same time.
Any ideas…?
EDIT:sorry, browsers making me accidentally double post
"Aeon in use elsewhere, please leave a message after the tone and it will come running when its finished"
it bugged enough when dagger on IX sometimes did and didnt summon on disk 3 i think, beside that, there are only 3 active summoners on the game if i remember correctly, all other summoners are either dead or retired, so the chances of all three all being in a battle, all summoning the same aeon is pretty slim imo.
As for why theres no water aeon, i’ve always felt that water, (and wind and earth) magic was somewhat neglected in recent FF’s. vivi couldnt cast these element i think, there was the water eidolon, and as you said in VIII, there are these GF’s, and you can cast these spells. but in general i’ve always felt these lacking. Im just glad that now water has three levels to it, 🙂 but i do believe that had they included aeons for ALL the element, water, wind, earth, gravity, etc, it would strecth an already pretty full game to something approaching boredom with either all the extra temples or side quests
Sin always hangs around in the water.
Really? I always thought Leviathan was pretty cool.
I just wanted to post something
The physical problem with Leviathan, though, is how awkward it’s look trying to control it as you do the other aeons (seeing as how it has no feet). I’ve always figured physical strangeness is why Ixion replaced Ramuh for this one (I would have rather seen Quezacotl again than Ixion, but hey, whatever…). In theory, that would have bumped Shiva out as well, but i don’t think Square dares to take away Shiva.
The dark aeons all have a red mark on their chest or near their heart could be. This basically suggests that the dark aeons have had their souls removed or something, so it would be an empty shell, that way it is’nt really a proper aeon.
