Edit : i went back there now im in this cloister thing…what do i do?
First, use either one of the side-facing transporters.
Ride the transporter down to the Labyrinth.
Go to the lower edge of the screen (do not climb up on the stone platform) and from there jump down. You will arrive back at the two remaining transporters.
Use the transporter in the middle and go up.
You will see a platform. Climb onto it to raise some platforms leading to a chest elsewhere. The transporter will take you back.
Use the other transporter and ride it down.
Go to the opposite side, (do not climb on to the stone platform) and use the transporter that you had used previously to go back up.
Use the transporter in the middle again.
Step onto the stone platform again to raise more platforms. When you have done that, take the transporter back down.
Ride the side-facing transporter back down.
You can now climb on to each of the two stone platforms to reveal a bridge across to the transporter. You can now reach the chest on the left, which contains the DARK NIGHT DRESSPHERE.
Hope this helps, I used it and got the Dark Night easily.
Its my favourite dressphere so it should be good for you
edit : tell you what would be usefull…for someone to start a topic with all the dress spheres and how to get them…
I’m not sure what you mean about having to beat a very hard dragon thing — you shouldn’t have to fight anything at all to get the Dark Knight dressphere. Are you thinking of the Via Infinito? If so, those Elder Drakes can be avoided and that isn’t where the Dark Knight dressphere is anyway. It’s in the Bevelle Underground, not long before the area where you fight Bahamut.
P.S.: I might be up for starting a dressphere topic… yeah, I take dibs on that. It might be a little while before I can get it posted though.
1. Get out of the Via Infinito if you’re in it already.
2. You know the room with the save point and the portal to the Via Infinito? Get out of it.
3. You should now be in the main hall of the New Yevon Headquarters building. In the middle, there is transporter. Step onto it. If it takes you down, then skip to Step 5. If it takes you up, then its settings aren’t correct. First, if it did take you up, go outside and look for another one that looks like it. Hit circle or X (I’m not sure which, I think X) and you’ll get a message saying that the settings on the main lift have been changed to direct-mode.
4. Return down on the main transporter and now circle over to the room to the left. Follow the path and you should see a transporter on the left and on the right. Hit circle on one of those and it should save the settings on the main one.
5. The main one is good to go. If you used to go down, you should now be in the Bevelle Underground. Follow the same path you followed before when you went to go find Baralai and then fight Bahamut and the area you’re looking for is just a bit before that part. Follow Rude666’s instructions and you should be good to go.
i think there’s a thread about the via infinito around here somewhere, but i cant see it on the first page, so im not looking, but i found this guide (http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/final_fantasy_x_2_via_infinito.txt) helpful, even though i used my own strategies for most bosses
And I dont know what a machine gunner is…..BUT IM STILL THE MAIN MAN
alchemist-get clasko on the airship in chapter one, or two i think, then do the chocobo mission in chapter two on the mi’ihen highroad and save calli in time, then go back to the travel agency front and let clasko on the airship again and then drop him off at the calm lands in chapter 3 and complete the mission where you clear out the ruins (formerly the arena in X)
and it can be as i think the chocobo mission needs to be played in a certain way to get the episode complete for the highroad in chapter 5 and implicate rikku in bustin the machina (not sure about this though)
It’s long time since I’ve been writing here, so I just wanna say HALLO to eveybody again…HIYA
