I’m looking for the ‘Rayman 3’ OST…

Hello,

I’m looking for the soundtrack of the game Rayman 3.
Can anyone please tell me where to find it, because I didn’t find it anywhere.
Or can anyone rip it or tell me how to rip it from the PC version ( I don’t have a PS2, GC, or XBOX ) ( NOT the GBA version!!! )???

Wrong. I did, after you told me there wasn’t any OST yet. It contains 108 ( all ) Rayman 3 songs. Even some beta songs, never heard in the game itself! ( because I ripped it )
I had the link up to the page where you can download all Rayman songs ( rayman 1, 2, 3, M, and other Rayman games!! I ripped these too. 😀 ) until september 19th, then the site went offline and never came back because of a domain renewal problem. I’ll post a link to a temporary site later today… 😉

The Rayman 2 soundtrack is missing a few songs. Towards the end of the "Fairy Glade" level is a section where you glide up on these air currents for a really long ways; during that section, a couple of enemies float down and some music plays. I couldn’t find that music on the site.

I also didn’t see the main tune that plays in the overworld (I know there’s a track called "Overworld" but that was basically the title screen). Nor did I see the Minisaurus Plain theme (which plays when you’re out in the open fields).

There are others but that’s what I’m recalling right now.

That’s all from Rayman 2: Revolution for PS2, not from Rayman 2: The Great Escape for PC, DC, etc. …
Anyway, I’m busy with Revolution now, so… check back later 😉

And also, I’ll try to have the song hoster upload my new songs from Rayman Hoodlums’ Revenge for GBA, Rayman 2 for N64, and the Rayman 3 beta demo.

Bar… I… I just came a little… you are amazing.

It’s great, but in my opinion it needs to be ripped with a higher bitrate (192 kbps or more; or better, VBR). However, they are good rips anyway.

The rayman 2 music is totally awesome and inspiring. Whoever composed it must be a genius. I would really like to have a hard copy of the music.
And if nobody can find a way to do that can anybody tell me how to rip the rayman 2 music from the PC-CD Rom?

Rayman Forever(which I presume you have), had less music for some reason.

Well… Then tell me how is it possible that some themes starts exactly when I enter some location? For example play "The Cave of bad dreams". You will hear the music and it will change when you will jump on the first skull. So I would like to have the main theme and the theme which I hear when I jump on the skull (that was only an egsampe of course). I hope that u see my point.
If you know how to rip the music, please tell me. I would be very thankful

I don’t see your point, because that’s in the music. Listen a little longer!
And it can also be that there is a change of the songs.

Also, it could be possible that you’re playing Rayman Revolution, which is NOT Rayman 2.
I am currently ripping the Revolution soundtrack. It should be done next year -> I have lots of work for school.

Now play the level again. After start immediately go forward – you will hear the second theme as soon as you will jump on the wall. As you the music depends on what you are doing.

I understand now.

That’s because it changed there originally. They just programmed it so when you jump on the bone wall, the part of the music that is playing will change.

I know how to rip the music, but you need the PS2 version ( Rayman Revolution ) for it. Do you have that?

No, I don’t. But do I have to have Rayman Revolution to rip music from Rayman 2: TGE for PC?

Well, I never figured out how to rip the PC music, actually. The PC and Rev. music is the same though.

I’m afraid that the only way to rip R2 music is to work in Ubisoft or to buy it from ’em. Well, thank you for providing the music though. I will cut samples myself then.
