Auron is a huge contributing part to a great storyline, throughout the game he has a mysteriousness that makes him interesting
lulu could have easily been replaced by a more interesting character, i love blm chars but they have to have something exciting about them, lulu didnt

I’m a mage freak, so Lulu won before I even started playing, which isn’t really fair :D. I didn’t think she was boring at all. Uses dolls for weapons, has a dress made almost entirely of belts, speaks some the game’s best dialogue, and has a sexy voice? I thought Yuna was boring (Maria/Reina/Aeris/Garnet clone #5), not Lulu. Again, though, extreme bias XD.
Auron’s story presence is solid. It was my initial experience with him in battle that put me off, in honesty I like all of the characters, so this answer was kind of a fill-in. Two words, Auron: ACCURACY SPHERES!!! lol…
Worse: Yuna
Kimahri can be just as good as anybody else. If you send him down Auron or Wakka’s sphere grid you’ll be fine. Or you can complete the whole sphere grid with everyone and no on person will be better than another =P.

I seem to be extremely biased too, but in the exact opposite way you are. Yuna was my favorite cause she did remind me of the other white mage-like main females. Hehe. That and the fact that she was the only one I managed to get through the entire sphere grid. So best all around PLUS ability to summon aeons (which the other did not) made her my favorite just based on gameplay.

That’s not true at all. She represents calm and a bit unsocial character. That kind of character type belong to every ff. I know she is borin’ and sometimes even annoyin’ but if u get used to her u can understand her true intentions. And she has some cool quotes: U don’t want to finish this sentence…, Anybody thirsty?etc.

"Onion Kid" is the default custom title set my administration, so when a new member signs up on the board and has left the custom title undefined, it will say that.
You can change it to whatever you want by clicking on "User CP", and then click on "Edit Profile". 🙂
Least favorite(s): Maester Mika, Maester Kinoc, Trommell (sp?), Clasko, and Shelinda. I didn’t really like the nonplayable characters much…well, their passive nature tended to really frustrate me, personality-wise.
Did anyone else notice in the credits that the voice actor who played both Wakka and Kimahri were one in the same? That really surprised me. They didn’t sound anything alike in game.

Rikku was probably my fave because she’s hyper and she has the Item Mix Overdrive which could make some pretty handy things at times. Seymour I didn’t like because he never seemed to want to die and Yunalesca just kept casting zombie status on me and she killed Auron in the story… poor guy

I hated Wakka’s accent (and pretty much anything he said), and Tromell was seriously obsessed with Seymour.
Least favorite… In the beginning I didn’t like Rikku, but later I began to dislike Wakka. Mostly because he’s not able to speak. Sometimes I just didn’t listen to him anymore. Particularly at the end. XD
And somehow I didn’t like Yuna. It’s not that I hate her.. But I don’t like her, either.

That’s right. I HATE Yuna more than Seymour. She was taking orders from others and seemed pretty stupid and worthless to me.
worst Wakka.
1. Auron. He’s cool, he’s smart, he’s tough as hell. What more is there to say?
2. Tidus. Why do so many people dislike him and call him "whiny"? What would you do if you were suddenly thrust into a whole new world you know nothing about?
3. Lulu. She’s just got some of the coolest lines next to Auron, and she doesn’t mess around, she gets the job done.
4. Rikku. She’s the energetic glue that holds the others together.
5. Yuna. Yuna just reminds me too much of Aeris from FFVII in some ways. I mean she’s certainly a lot more likeable and interesting, but she just seems like someone who needs to kind of let loose once in a while and quit keeping all of her emotions bottled up inside. She seems like someone who wants so badly to just have a good time, but can’t because of her duties as a summoner.
6. Wakka. Something about Wakka never quite bodes well with me. I don’t know what it is, I mean he’s currently my second most powerful attacker next to Auron, but he just does not have what it takes to win me over as a character. His entirely baseless criticism of the Al-Bhed is rather disconcerting. He bases his hatred of them on what? The fact that they use REAL weapons instead of religion to get things done, and because his brother decided to do that too, only to get killed? Surely Wakka wouldn’t hate an entire race just for that fact alone..
7. Kimahri. I’m not bashing him as a character, he may not speak much but what little he does say, he’s clearly very intelligent like Auron. But even though he can be powered up to the same level as everyone else, he still doesn’t have enough of his own merits on which to judge him as a fighter. He’s currently the bottom of the food chain in my character roster, but he’s still not a bad character; just not enough complexity to him to make him on the same page as everyone else.
8. SEYMOUR. God I hate Seymour. He’s like a slightly less eccentric Kefka (for those of you familiar with FFVI) but with a lot more scare value. There’s just something quite creepy about seeing his sinister grin glaring across at you on an icy cliff and then transforming into a huge natural battletank to short-live your existence time and again.
Total Badass. The guy is good.

My least favorite playable character is Kimahri, but I don’t hate him or anything. I just use him the least.
But for a non playable character, I would say Seymour. I find him very annoying and I have had a hard time with all of his battles up to Seymour flux so far.

my least favorite is wakka, i only use him when necessary, but most of the time i dont need him, because lulu can do his job for him.
Least favourite would probably be a blitzer like Nimrook, the annoying goalie of the Al Bhed Psyches. He’s just so damn good at the start of the game, it’s annoying.
I reckon Isaaru would come close too, because he’s too loyal to Yevon.
