I need good Metal music(noob)

I really like Rammstein, and I seriously need to start listening to other bands…Where could I download their songs? (Like the video game music here)And what are the best?-Thanks

In all seriousness, try looking for Helloween, Iron Maiden, Angra and Judas Priest

Go to google or wikipedia and do some research, type in a band you already like, find out their genre, then look up the genre and go to amazon.com to listen to samples of the various bands within that genre. From there you’ll probably be led elsewhere. I learned about most of the bands I like just from the similar artist suggestions at Amazon to be honest.

I know there are some crap in it, but if you listen to something like Emperor (I recommend ‘Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk’ and ‘Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire & Demise) they incoporate abit of prog as well and create some of the most amazing musical atomospheres I’ve ever heard. Even Ihsahn’s solo project is awesome and even more prog.

Also, Dream Theater are wonderful too. Not full-blown metal, but pretty amazing. Check out In The Name of God, Pull Me Under, Octavarium, Metropolis, A Change of Seasons, Dance of Eternity and Beyond this Life, at the very least.

sorry if anyone beat me to it, but i read the first 3 pages and i find it amazing, this guy likes rammstein and wants something similar. try WUMPSCUT. its actually just one guy on a conputer but a lot of the stuff he does is amazing. (a lot is shit but hey) he’s very anti hitler but most of the stuff is german/to fast to get a grip on, give it a go
