Red XIII got jipped.

Granted, it wasn’t about him. But he didn’t even have a line the whole game! Not even an appearence until the end! I like Red XIII.

The point of his protest is although the game was about VINCENT, (not Vinvent), all the other characters still played a good part in the FMVs and on the Shera. Red XIII was not shown untill the end for about 2 seconds. At least the other characters had lines.

I havent played DoC, but thats pretty shit that he got left out. hes one of my favourites. he also got virtually nothing in Advent Children.

I know…I thought he was quite interesting from playing as him in FFVII.

I take back my statement on Red XIII being my least favourite character. He’s just one of my least favourite characters. He’s only just a few steps above freako Seymour (FFX), crying Loz (FFVII:AC), useless Datto (FFX) and backstabber Seifer (FFVIII).

It doesn’t matter if Aeris is dead. It matters how many fanboys enix sees wanting to see aeris again in something else. Thus, the reason her and Sephiroth were added into AC.

Nanaki is one of my most favorite characters in the final fantasy series, i even had an art work image of him for me when i was staff, moderating an online game. I think it’s rather cool the way we only watched him on the screen for a few seconds, because he didn’t need to be put into this story. I know it may sound really weird but it’s like suspense of "are we going to see Nanaki" and in the end it looked great just him sitting there with Shelki! It’s good that all the Heros of Jenova wern’t in the game fully and we managed to meet new characters of FF Vii World. This was a chapter of the past and present of the great character of Vincent and we get to grips and find out more with his history. I would rather wait to see another chapter in the FF Vii down the line with a more in depth story that hasn’t got anything to do with Jenova based events or life stream and start getting involved with great story plots with the characters once again. But i guess i can agree that Nanaki was "cut" out of the game but i personally don’t think this is such a bad thing. If Aeris was added to this game, or Zack for that matter it would ruin the game’s story, why would they need to be added only for people’s pleasure of seeing them in a cut scene? With Cloud, Tifa etc the story didn’t look out of shape because they were helping on the attack, but how would you add Aeris in? ~Db.

I never said Aeris should be added to the game as such, certainly not a main part, but I was merely wondering if she was mentioned in anyway, or perhaps appeared in flashbacks etc (since I ahvent played the game and prob wont, I dont know if there are anything like flashbacks etc. Plus if it wasnt for her releasing holy, everyone would be dead :-P).

**SPOILER** well, sorta…

In the final cut-scene, it’s implied that Aeris gives the protomateria to Shelk when she dives into Omega’s lifestream. It’s actually pretty cool. You don’t see her face, there’s just this soft break in the epic music and a white light around this chick is handing over the materia.

Yeah, Nanaki did get gypped in AC and DoC, but you have to think about this: all the struggles that his character was experiencing were already resolved (the whole Cosmo Canyon arc in FF7). There’s really no point in expanding his story any further… so I don’t feel so bad.

Of course, it makes me feel really good that he wins out in the end. He outlives everybody!

To top it off he will more than likely not even be in Crisis Core >> Poor Red.

The way i see it, everyone EXCEPT Vincent was gipped…
