Warmech (FFI) isn’t a boss–just a really fricking strong random enemy. Also, for FFVI, don’t use both Atmas–pick one and use the extra spot for another one of the bosses–good choices would be the Three Dream Stooges (Larry, Curley and Moe), Doom Gaze, MagiMaster (how on EARTH did you leave him out?), AirForce, and TunnelArmr.

I’d like to see Doom Gaze replace one of the Atmas as Cyan said. Also, Warmech should be replaced with Kary.

I’m not sure if I agree with you guys about Warmech. He was the hardest enemy in all of FFI, after all.

Phunbaba is a joke. How about Chadarnook instead — that boss could really be trouble. Final Fantasy V — how about Twin Tania and maybe Necrophobia also?

I choose Ice Gigas because hunting around for Doom Gaze in FFVI isn’t nearly as much fun as hunting for Ultima Weapon in Final Fantasy VII. That, and that Doom Gaze goes down just as easily as a lot of the other game’s bosses to the cheap Vanish / Doom trick.

P.S.: Doom Gaze is not one of the eight dragons and is not required for the esper Crusader. You get Bahamut for beating Doom Gaze.

Ultros – A man-eating squid that might have a brother in the Water Cavern in IV. This one not as vulnerable to Lit and much harder to down as well makes several appearance through VI and eventually ends up working at a colloseum with Chupon.

Behemoth – The common beast of it’s kind this II version participates in an arena scene. Though not as challenging as it’s current rival it’s role it’s somewhat entertaining.

Behemoth sounds right for me seeing as involved Ultros was he never made it out of the nintendo market besides being in remakes.

Warmech/Death Machine – This cantankerous optional boss’s difficulty is comparable to that of Ozma(IX) and is found in much the same way as the pinkpuffs in IV when on the Adamant Armour quest.
