I think that if this was a battle like FFs then whoever went first will win (since max HP in FF7 is 9999 and even though they can get 9999+ HP in FF10, Yuffie may have 4x Cut) So i don’t think that there can be a true winner here 😛

BUT, I think that Yuffie would win since she would probably just steal all of Rikku’s gear, plus she’s a ninja and she has a long-range weapon 🙂

I am going to say that Rikku would win in this.

Both characters can easily attain max stats in a battle, but Rikku doesn’t have to rely on materia to fight, because of the shpere grid. Saying that it’s obvious that Rikku would have more abilities to fight with.

Another advantage on Rikku’s side is the effects thatr weapons have on her.

Excluding any breaks, she could come into battle with first strike equipped, also deathstrike, stonestrike and treble overdrive on her weapon. And auto-shell, auto-protect, ribbon and another ability on her armour.

One strike off Rikku could automatically kill yuffie (with firstrike equipped she can always come into battle first). 9999 damage could be done and then death and stone afflicted onto Yuffie aswell. Alternatively she could cast auto-life on herself recieve a damageing blow from yuffie, and still get up and be able to fight on.

Given that information, it’s clear that all ffx characters can always win because of the advantages not given to you in other ff’s.

Lulu wins

Yuffie needs to fucking grow up.

Yuffie only relies on her boomerang weapon, but Rikku could throw all sorts of bombs and such. Rikku could have Yuffie any day.

Equipped with Master Magic/Command/Summon, Final Attack + Phoenix, Master All, Flash or 4xCut, a mastered Enemy Skill, and Elemental + Odin, Yuffie would be just as powerful. Also, given that certain accessories have the same effects as the ones you listed for Rikku, Yuffie would be at an even greater advantage. If she were to reach her Limit Break, use it, and then use Mime, she would be doing that Limit Break for the entire battle, while Rikku would have to build hers up everytime she wants to use it. I believe the highest one can reach without customizing the entire Sphere Grid is around 25,000 HP, which only needs a three-hit attack. Yuffie could easily use Quadra Magic + Flare to defeat her, or even one casting of KotR.

I agree. And to add to your point, Yuffie can also have Final Attack and Revive materia combo and always come back to life.
