However, I don’t know how accurate the source is. I guess we’ll have to wait for nintendo’s official announcement today to know!
EDIT
Confirmed via IGN’s article (http://wii.ign.com/articles/732/732669p1.html) (assuming you trust IGN – they cite the New York Times as their source so you also have to trust them). Other things to note – Wii Sports will be bundled with the console, and it’ll ship right out of the box with Opera (further proof that Opera > firefox am I right), and there are 8x as many Wiis being produced as PS3s. Lol gg sony
knew it
The price point is right on the money considering everything that’s packaged in with it. I figured it would cost $200 with just the console, controller, etc. But I knew they would most likely bundle in Wii sports with it, so the higher price point isn’t that bad. I’m pleased to see that the Wii games will cost $50 and not rise up to 60-70 like some PS3 and 360 games will, so that’s an advantage.
I don’t know, I still don’t understand the release date, if this is all to be believed. =/
And same goes for 50$/game.
Dont really get the launch date myself, its as if they made a deal with Sony to cut them some slack or some shit.. i dunno.
OBVIOUSLY A SIGN THAT YOU CAN START GETTING DRUNK
DRUNK OFF WII
this (http://www.forbes.com/technology/feeds/afx/2006/09/14/afx3016278.html) from forbes says a Dec 2 price date… which coincides with what Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6157575.html?tag=topslot;action;1) says about Nintendo’s press release – Dec 2 being the release date in Japan, with Nov 19 being the release date here. Also of note is the Nunchuk being included in the box, apparently, and only one color (white). "9:33 am: And the final Wii Sports lineup is…tennis, golf, baseball, bowling, and boxing?! That’s new. This should be interesting."
I happen to trust gamespot (and ign) so I’ll go with that.
