kind of amusing it took this long though.

Also: this sucks for a whole lot more people than just gamers who want their latest Japanese Dating Sim. One of my friends owns an independent games store, and he was able to steal a lot of customers from our local EB by ordering games from Lik-Sang and having them on the shelf before they were released over here. And profiting, too; he’s been selling Pokemon Diamond/Pearl for AU$100 a piece, and that’s the Japanese language version.
With Lik-Sang gone, it makes it harder for him to stand out from EB. Not to mention the countries in the world where Sony haven’t ‘officially’ launched the PS2 or PSP (like South Africa) that rely on importers in order to obtain products.

Yeah, he just switched to them. I actually just found them the other day too… and realised they’re 10 million times better than lik-sang. And the awesome news that most X360 games are region free, which means I can buy them from here for $60 as apposed to $110.
Unfortunately, he used to get a really good partnership price with Lik-Sang; he doesn’t make as much as a proift off Play-Asia stuff. Which means he’ll have to raise his instore prices.
