its called tanatarian which is a book in the alexandria library which you only get 2 chances to fight it(disc 2+3). the book is quite hard depending on your levels.
all characters in their 20’s= a hard fight
all characters in their 30’s= not that hard a fight
all characters in their 40’s= a walk in the park
best time to fight it is in disc 3 as you dont have a time limit, and your characters have higher levels.
You get 4472 Gil, so I would hardly call that a fair amount. ๐
You need to beat Lich and go speak to Hades within 12 hours of starting a new game. The easiest way is, when there is a cinematic, simply open and close the Disk cover ( works for PS2 as well ) and there, you have saved yourself at least an hour of cinematics in total.
It’s quite amusing how cocky you are on an internet forum, when your post count is still in the single digits.
for starters, to make it shitloads easier to beat Tanatarian, simply use Vivi’s Bio untill it closes up, then have Zidane use Theivery which will deal 1200 damage to him and make him re-open straight away.
But since you know so much about FFIX, telling you that Zidane’s Thievery is based upon how many times Ziddy has stolen would be pointless. As a result, Thievery almost certainly will not do 1,200 damage to him. If you’re at all like me, and don’t spend hours on end Stealing stuff simply to power up an ability that really isn’t that necessary, Thievery will almost certainly deal much less damage.

Of course, you’ll also have to run from almost every single random battle in this obscene speed run, which means you’ll be at a stupidly low level come time to actually fight Lich. You’ll also miss out on quite a few neat items along the way. I’ve heard stories from folks trying the feat (I’ve never been that crazy to try), and they seemed to have rapidly fraying nerves from trying to fight bosses when stupidly underlevelled and quite unprepared (as 12 hours to practically complete the entire game doesn’t give you really any time to prepare).
And it wasn’t me who said it had to be under 12 Hours, it was the official Final Fantasy 9 Strategy Guide so fuck off, stop being such a cunt, go get a life and stop trying to make yourself seem bigger than everyone else because you’re just being an arsehole.
I want you to read the first post you made earlier in this thread, and then tell me who’s the cunt. You’re contradicting yourself, so unless you actually have something slighty interesting to say, fuck off. You started this, and people here will never let you forget it, so you might as well leave with your tail between your legs now.
QFT. If Omaklise had such a great social life, s/he wouldn’t get so bent out of shape about things like FFIX and AC, and wouldn’t use profanity every change s/he got to make him/herself look older than 14 or 15.
edit/addition: If you’d look at my profile, you’d see I only average a little over a post per day. For every week I spend actually posting, I’ll spend another without even visiting FFS.
