Top 10 anime BGM songs

Anime version of the thread in the VGM section, from which I’ve been able to find some kickass music (and a lot of re-directs to One-Winged Angel… *cough*)

So anyway, this is the thread for your top ten favorite anime BACKGROUND songs. Not Op. and Ed. music. x: That can be another thread. Or you can list them here if you really want, but I’m looking to see some BGM lists since nobody ever seems to discuss it.

10 is a bit too many… For me, its mostly songs by Kajiura Yuki like Mezame(mai hime) and Canta per Me.

With the limitless amount of anime BGM music out there, 10 is too many? :erm:

It looks so one dimensional with all the Kenshin and Naruto tracks but they have a lot of really good songs imo.

Bah so many, it’s really impossible to choose all my favs, so I decided to choose only 1 track from each OST (harder to do then you think!).

The main theme for the Berserk series is too good. I forget the name of it though. Anywa, it definitely belongs in the top ten somwhere.

I like most songs from Ruroni Kenshin, Noir, GITS: SAC and FLCL.

hmm… no Bleach? No Gundam? No DBZ? And Pokemon takes 1st??? Hmm…. well at least you’ve got a Cowboy Bebop track…

A lot of the best background music comes from one piece imo, but bleach has started to pick up the pace with the espada/arrancar arc. I’m so gld they ditched that sensational song.

And a nice anime film soundtrack which is hard to find online is Roujin Z – the closing song "Hashire Jitensha" ("Run, bicycle"?) by Mishio Ogawa rocks utterly.
This is without even starting on Yoko Kanno’s stuff!

I have been looking for Roujin Z soundtrack, any clue?
