it’s rly no freeze because the F4 works and when i take out the cd it says "please insert CD1". Putting it back it makes the screen black and a small sound effect goes looping.
if you can post a list of your hardware and the operating system you’re running on, we could probably give you better advice
my computer is pretty new. the same with my video card. and where can i see what operating system i have?
but if you can give me the specific model name of your video card (i.e. ATI Radeon X1900XTX) i can see if there are issues with compatibility with the card you have and the FFVII videos
i have the PC version as well and i haven’t ever had these problems
but if the disks are clean and scratchless, i can’t think of anything that you quickly fix aside from driver updates
but yeah…a video card model name would be nice =P
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor
3200+
2.01 GHz. 1,00 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension
ATI CATALYST
And i also downloaded the extras from the install cd
i see some1 that have the same problem that i have
Thread 33106
crashes at the same place too i see
but with the posted link…that pretty much rules out the possiblity of it being a problem with ATI cards…
did you get the patch as well?…the other guy did and it still crashed, but it wouldn’t hurt to try
btw…there’s nothing wrong with your save…but i’m a strong believer in doing things for yourself so i think you’ll have to wait until you get this problem fixed to advance in the game
first get the patch…if that doesn’t work…go to microsoft.com and check to see if any of your components need updates
if it still doesn’t work, try a different video card or take your disks to another PC to see if it’s a problem with the disks or your PC…if you get to this point it’s probably the disks
dont work… 1.2? where can i get it?
if that doesn’t work…go to microsoft.com and check to see if any of your components need updates nopp, nothing
if it still doesn’t work, try a different video card
Nopp, dident work
take your disks to another PC to see if it’s a problem with the disks or your PC…if you get to this point it’s probably the disks
I don’t have more then 1 PC and the CDs may be old but it can’t be something wrong with them because keeped them on a safe place 8 years
