Simple enough. Which characters in Final Fantasy are the top representatives of each sin? heroes, villains, whatever.

Wrath-
ntense anger (usually on an epic scale)

would say that is only Kuja who was gonna kill every living thing int he universe. Life, memories, essence itself would be obliterated because of his hatred.

Lust-
lecherousness: a strong sexual desire

While Zidane was desirous, he was nothing compared to Don Corneo. He is definitely the major one to represent this category.

Envy-
a feeling of grudging admiration and desire to have something that is possessed by another

The Unsent in FFX. Their envy and jealousy of humanity changes their spirits into fiends.

Greed-
excessive desire to acquire or possess more (especially more material wealth) than one needs or deserves

Yuffie. Duh. She was always after your materia.

Pride-
a feeling of self-respect and personal worth

Seifer. He always felt his decision and skills were above any other’s.

Sloth-
a disinclination to work or exert yourself

Unsure

Gluttony-
Overindulgence of food or drink

Quina. Obviously.

IMO, if Final Fantasy was supposed to be second guessed as the seven deadly sins, don’t you think they’d make an entire cast represent them so it’s somewhat obvious and meaningful; but I’m sure it was all a master plot to spread them out throughout years and different games so people can make threads.

I think Kefka would be a better representation of Greed becuase Yuffie had a reason for taking (her village’s well-being; did seem excessive though but not totally). –Kefka was just never-ending, he wanted it all (power/fame) as well as the destruction of their world. There’s another post that may contradict what I’m saying about his true intent and labelling him greedy but it’s safe enough to say it still applies.

As for Sloth: Reeve was always using Mog/Cait Sith, and then Cait Sith was always riding on Mog’s back in VII and on Nanaki’s/RedXIII’s in Advent Children. He did get on his own two legs in Dirge of Cerberus but he was a little uncooperative as far as agility ( (cutscene)scrambling into/out of pipelines; (controlled) slow movement in hiding, scaling ladders and dodging barrells).

Brahne should recieve the award for greed in my opinion. Her lust for power was just totally insatiable. Even when she had the entire Mist Continent under her power she wanted more. Which ultimately leads to her downfall.

Agent-how ’bout Logos for lust from the same game? Judging by his sphere camera antics in that game, I’d say he’s the equal of Leblanc in that regard. 😉

Ceidwad — I like that. Yeah, Logos could qualify for that title too. Although he’s different from Leblanc in that he’s a bit more sneaky and less talkative about it.

Gluttony — Quina was the obvious choice, but what about Palmer from FFVII? "Lots and lots of honey, and don’t forget the lard!" Oh man…

I think Tella in IV was a good example of wrath. Although it’s just in one game and he’s not out for anything epic, and it’s closer to revenge, it just comes to mind when :::spoiler::: he sacrifices himself through Meteo for Rosa his daughter against Golbez :::spoiler:::

I mean, someone who interprets Quina as being Slothful isn’t wrong. Despite the fact Quina works extremely hard to get his food. Jenova represents Greed I think. It only desires to infect and destroy each race it encounters. But that may be a bad example cause it really does it for no personal gain..
