Here’s my thing… the animation in Bleach isn’t even as good as a series like Naruto (and Naruto is MUUUUCCCCHHHH longer). The characters seem sort of genertic… thus far, I haven’t seen anything special in them… but again, I haven’t seen a ton of it. The music is good, I’ll give it that.
Can anyone give me a good reason to invest time in this series? I’ve enjoyed long series such as Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho (even some Naruto I’ve enjoyed) but this just doesn’t seem to interest me thus far.

Anywho I’m not a Bleach fan But I did watch a little bit and never saw it again.

Anyway, Bleach. Just watched ep 111. The most amazing and exciting development i’ve seen in a long time. It just never ceases to amaze me. The storyline is great. For those who have not seen it, nor seen enough of it, why not give it a try. Bleach is like those books that start slow but as it goes along it gets more exciting and surprising.
Right now I feel like buying the mangas and dvds online too. Naruto hasnt quite inspired me that way. 😉

Bleach is a decent anime. It gets boring at times, and like what-his-face said, uses the dbz formula. e.g. Recurring story line, lots of energy beams, main chara(s) has some sort of power which saves them when they about to die. It’s not bad, it’s not great. I watch it because my brother downloads it. It just passes time for me. I must say i have enjoyed the series so far (although the fillers weren’t that great), but it’s not one of my all time favourites.

Well firstly the animation in my opinion IS better than Naruto’s, which recently, has been absolutely appauling. Secondly, your friend misled you, as it does not get good for a while, but we’re talking about 15 episodes. If anything it gets worse around 60 cuz of stupid fillers. But it picks up again at 110, and as I read the manga, I know how awesome it gets. The main reason to invest in it is because from about 20-60 is some of the best anime you’ll ever see.
i seriously doubt that. i’ve watched some of Bleach, and some was too much. At least DBZ has some unintentional comedy in it.
and no show, anime or not should only "pick up" a certain number of episodes in. it should catch my intrest from the start, thats what makes a well-written show.

Believe me, the dub is nowhere near as good. And if you think Orihime is hot, then you clearly haven’t seen matsumoto yet. Not saying I think she’s hot, just if you think Inoue is, then you will definitely think she is. 😛

Neways, this is about bleach. It’s kinda easy to realise that the Bounto Arc was fillers too. Bleach just seemed to get a little lame, and boring, and everything that happened within it meant nothing in the end.
And everything that happened meaning nothing, is generally the nature of filler, with the exception of a few Bounto references and some of the characters staying over to the canon Arrancar arc.
The only difference in plot between Soul Society and the Rescue Orihime arc apart from the place and person they’re rescuing, is the odds are completely, without remorse, stacked against Ichigo. They were in Soul Society but many unforeseen factors played in to the success, I see no such thing as mutiny and such a twist as there was in the Soul Society arc (The 3 captains doing what they did).
This is just going to lead up to the Winter War, Ichigo and friends will fall back out of Hueco Mundo, they’re going to fail it.
And hopefully, Ichigos other side will take control permanently.
But thats just hopeful thinking 🙂

The start of the naruto fillers, i have to admit, weren’t that obvious (naruto and jiraiya infiltrating ‘orochimarus’ base), but after that bit, it’s impossible not to notice.
Narutos filler just got obviously non important to the overall storyline pretty fast, whereas Bleachs filler could get away with it

It has all the mange released so far plus a few extra and they’re all in english. The anime episodes go from 1-120 but there all in japanese with english subtitles. (Personally, I don’t like the english voice actors so I could care less…)
Anyway, yes I like Bleach. Yes it takes awhile to get the hang of it, but eventually the plot ball gets rolling and it’s gets interesting real quick.
And I do agree with a previous post about ep. 111. Awesome plot twist man.

It really irritates me, nothing personal of course. If you’re gonna post some japanese, make it actual japanese, with full sentences. That, I am fine with.
If english is your first language, use it any way you like. People using japanese in english sentences severly annoys me. Of course, nothing says you have to listen to what i have to say. Nor does anything say you can’t use random japanese words in your sentences. But as long as you, and others, keep doing it, people like me and prak will come after you.

bleach is a good anime…i think so…storyline i belive it to be interesting enough to hold my attention…the quality of bleach is really good, although there was a serious quality drop once the fillers began…it was very disgusting…the fillers sucked (overall) too…that bount arc was idiotic, and the fact that the anime is trying to keep ririn, nova, and cloud around is sad…
i do enjoy bleach and i would recommend it to anyone with free time on their hands…but its not the greatest…i’d suggest just skip downloading the fillers…

Chad’s powers aren’t hollow powers. They were gained through Ichigo’s reiatsu leaking out when chad was near by.
Rukia didn’t just ‘get lucky’. Her Shikai is just massively overpowered lol. Sure she mightn’t have stood a chance against the rest of em, but it was hardly luck lol.

Again, i completely agree. The quality of bleach has just kept dropping since the fillers started. I expected the quality to jump back up once the fillers ended, but it didn’t. The only few episodes since fillers ended that have been good quality were ikkaku bankai episodes. And even those weren’t all that flash. BRING BACK THE GOOD ANIMATION!!!

she comes off as over-powered, but really (i think) she isnt…i do believe it was explained by pyon that rukia is close to (if not already) near something that of a vice captain…that being said, it wouldnt be surprising that she performed how she did against the arrancar…but that brings me to another rant on how…
i dont like how the backstory of so many characters are unexplained to us…its either you’re a main character or we know little to nothing about em…heck even some of the main characters in the story have little known about them…but hopefully more is revealed later one…

I dunno. You do realise ichigo is gonna end up being the most powerful shinigami in existance. It’s kinda obvious. So it’s possible that he could have been leaking enough energy to give chad powers. Or maybe even that chad already had his own powers and ichigo’s reiatsu ‘unlocked’ them or something… oh wait… i remember now, my brother told me something bout chad being related to one of the powerful hollows… whatchamacallems… the uber powerful ones…. eh, maybe that’s it?

although because of the similar backgrounds chad has with hueco mundo (obviously latin influences)…its somewhat possible that he’s connected with hueco mundo in some form or another…

Well I was to lazy to read all 5 pages, but if you want to see all 122 episodes of the current released bleach go to crunchyroll.com This site makes you see the videos through streaming, but it has better quality then youtube. You hve to register to see the things. I have no clue of chad being related to any of the vasto lordes. The bounto arc was bad until they got past the part of the only introducing 2 bountos. The one ishida liked and that snake guy. I sorta stopped there for a month and started up again. It got better as it went on. The arc that starts around episode 108 or 109 for the arrancars is probably the best. I don’t read the manga so I can only go to the point where tousen just owns grimmjow by punishment. I don’t really want to know what happens after though:D, but seeing Ichigo beat Aizen is VERY unlikely. All I know is the vaizers. I don’t know how to spell that word. Is that they help Ichigo release his hollow side and then he kicks ass…that is all I know and the part where they help Ichigo is beyond the episode I am on so I must see it for myself.

Some shonens drop the ball now and then plot wise, like I don’t think Naruto Shippuden is comparing to part 1, but Bleach for me at the moment is more interesting 🙂

Wah?! Naruto shippuden is much better then series one in my opinion. I mean sure, it’s storyline aint the flashiest thing in the world, but GOD it’s a refreshing break from those fillers!
But i’ve gotta agree with you, bleach is starting to get more interesting. Especially since the quality came back into the animation. (If you didn’t notice, watch the grimmjow vs. ichigo fight, you’ll see)

Wait so streaming makes the episode download onto my comp? Is that why if I return to that episode after a day it will still be loaded? Sometimes it has to reload. My comp can hold the episodes memory of course, but I don’t want to keep stuff I saw…
Yeah. Streaming videos downloads straight on to your computer. Your computer will automatically delete data in temporary files that’s a day old or so. Still, downloading the episode is much more worthwile. A solution to your space problem; External Hard drive. You can get a 200 gig desktop hard drive, with case and everything for about $180 australian dollars if you know where to buy it. or you could get a 120 gig laptop hard drive for $300 >_>;;
The difference being, desktop requires power source, laptop just gets it’s power from your computer. Still, me and my bro keep all the anime we download. It’s nearing 50gig now i think. Overall Lesson :smrt: : External Hard drives are good
Yes they are. I have a 500GB & 320GB External for my anime. Will be picking up another 500GB at some point since I have other things I’d like to save too. Oh and I have a 250GB internal for the usual etc etc.
Some of us don’t have that much money to waste, since we don’t actually have a job yet >_>;;
For the 320 and the 500 it was like $300 and then two cases.

BUT it’s still worth watching/reading. The songs in the anime are super nice and the manga’s a little sketchy but you’ll get past it. The characters! So darned cool.

Otherwise, the series is getting intense. I’m sick of the filler in the anime. Soccer, Cakes, and Kendo? WTF?
Also, in response to that reference about Chad’s arm looking like Hollow Ichigo’s. I believe Urahara made comment to how his power is "unique" I think he was making some sort of hint that Chad’s power may be related to that of a hollow. Maybe his arm releases some sort of modified Cero Blast? Just speculation though.
