To be honest, I don’t really like the Hip Hop culture. I have nothing against the music, it’s entertainment, but I also cannot ignore the fact that it’s people like 50 Cent who promotes promiscuity for women. The percentage of HIV/aids amongst African-American women have increased, no doubt brought on by rap music’s influence, and entertainers like 50 Cent.

OK give me solid proof that girls, have underage sex because of rap. What you fail to realize is sex is everywhere, playgrounds magazines, television ads tun on your radio and listen for an hour tell me if you don’t hear a commercial for male enhancement with raunchy background sounds. Not to mention a lot of pop singers like, ooh Nelly Furtado put out songs called promiscous boy, but rap videos with girls shaking their asses, is the epicenter of this sexual escapade. I listen to alot of extreme metal, and yes there is alot of lyrics about death and such but most of the time you just have to take those lyrics with a pinch of salt, normally you can tell that it’s quite tongue-in-cheek. Also, I know of alot of extreme metal bands that have a message of good, though I also know that alot of rap/hip-hop artists also have a nice message to give out (I do listen to a bit of rap/hip-hop, only the cool stuff though).
Anyway, what I want to say basically is; I can count far more deaths in the rap scene than I can in the extreme metal scene.
