The ‘Extras’ Collection includes all the wallpapers, videos, concept art from the BREAKDOWN website, because some of the files on the website have disappeared over time.

All tracks have been properly renamed to match their web audio sample counterparts, so everything is as accurate as possible. Also included are three .m3u files, "Official BREAKDOWN Accessible Tracks." which will only queue up the tracks officially accessible from in-game, "Complete BREAKDOWN Game Tracks," which will queue up all game tracks except the web audio samples, and "Complete BREAKDOWN Soundtracks" which simply queues everything up. .m3u is a playlist format compatible with Winamp, for those that do not know.

I will very soon replay BREAKDOWN, and this time through I will be processing the various sound effects and voice samples which I have, properly tagging, etc, and as always the links for download will be listed here. Thanks for looking.

What’s break down? If it’s a collection of different songs, could I get a list of songs?

Note: All tracks come complete with the proper tags. Also, all tracks following track 005 come in extremely-near-chronological order that they are heard in the game. Everything is as close to perfect as possible.

What an incredible rip. You sir have my deepest gratitude for putting this together.
There’s a song however I don’t even think is in the game, it’s simply called "Main theme" and can be found at the official website (http://www.project-breakdown.com/). It sounds like the beginning of Ultra Acceleration but then gets into it’s own thing.
There are also correct ID tags for some of the songs there, like Final Escape is actually called "Hurry!" and so on…
Just some interesting info you might want to check out if you’re a fan of this soundtrack.

You’re right, there are a whole slew of sound files on the official website with proper tags that I should have carried over into this release (at one point I archived the entire site on my hard drive including the files just for this purpose) but I became lazy and dropped it after a while, lol.

If MegaUpload ever takes the files down I’m more than willing to re-upload, just post here to let me know. Hm.. maybe ’tis the season to get to work on the game’s sound fx files too? I still have all of those in their raw format that I never tagged or anything.. there were just so many..

it was working several hours ago, and its been up for almost a year, and they only NOW just took it down?! will re-upload soon.

Alright, here’s what I’m going to do.

I’ve gone back and checked over the web audio samples, and for the most part they sound like either different mixes of the tracks that made it in-game, or clips from tracks in the game. I’m going to add them in with the tracks DEFINITELY from the game, but they’ll just be in an extra folder or added into the tracklist, i.e. it will read 144 MAIN THEME (Web).mp3 or something.

Thanks much again. I honestly appreciate it. I always wanted to study the music. It’s very dark and soothing at times.

I know that this is waaaaaay late to the party, but does someone still have a copy of this they can upload somewhere? Breakdown is by far my favorite game of all time, and it just now dawned on me that "Oh shit, they probably have some form of OST maybe?"
