the whole style of the game really, from the clothing, combat and grahics its very reminicent of it
It remindes me of FFTA.
1) Both in Ivalice
2) Bangaas, Vieras, Nu Mous anr in both
3) Adremelch is in both
4) Giza Plains are in both
And Zeromus is the final boss of FFIV

Probably because Vagrant Story was made by exactly the same team at Final Fantasy XII, AND FF Tactics/Tactics Advance.
Vagrant Story is also set in Ivalice, approximately 2000 years after Final Fantasy XII; the Kingdom of Valendia is a continent made up of a large part of the area east of Dalmasca (around Mt. Bur-Omisice). And the Kiltean religion referred to often in the game?
It was originally practiced by the the ancient Kilteas, who in FF12 are the religion based in Mt. Bur-Omisice.
Personally I think it would have been kinda neat to have Lea Monde as a living, breathing city in FF12 – it would make Vagrant Story all that more darker 😀
Actually, I posted a while back that this game reminded me of a sort of combination of FFVI and FFIX, but more VI. After all, you’ve got the Empire, there’s magicite and you get to summon espers. That was one of the main things I noticed.
