How much longer do we have to wait for a rerelease or a remake??

…its been years since i’ve played ffVII…i have disc 2 and 3, but of course disc 1 is nowhere to be found. how much longer do we have to wait to get a rerelease of the game? i’m not even asking for a remake, although we know thats what most ppl want, myself included. i just want the chance to be able to play the game again.

are there any online petitions? ebay prices for this game are ridiculous.
