thanks, downloading now. I’ve never heard of Immediate before, but several times I’ve heard awesome music to movie trailers, only to download the movie score and get disappointed because the movie score is never used in the trailers… :rolleyes:

Thank you, but I’m not sure this is what I’m looking for. When I extracted the zip file, there was a folder called ‘Non – Choir’. Inside that folder, track number 12 is missing. Sorry to bother but it’s annoying the album is not complete 🙂

Don’t worry, nothing is wrong with your uploaded zip file. The reason one track was missing when I extracted the zip file was that it went corrupt because I only downloaded 99%. 🙂

Thanks :)The tracklisting seems the same to me. Well…same tracks anyway. The Abbey Road albums I got (also 3 CDs), just list the track in alphabetical order rather than the correct order (for the 1st 2 CDs anyway).
EDIT: Actually, checking now, it seems there are some slight differences. Some tracks from CD2 are in CD1 and vice versa and a few missing (like 3 or so) but most are there.

After seeing the Golden Compass trailer, I can’t stop listening to "To the Rescue". I would be really grateful if you uploaded any albums you have by Future World Music, especially Volume Four. Also, does anyone know if it’s possible to buy the CD’s from Future World Music themselves? It seems weird that they would sort their music into albums if they weren’t available commercially, but I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

LOL, thanks, I’m a bit of a neat freak, like to keep things seperated. Anyway, I don’t really have time anymore, I got 1 more day before I’m leaving to take my exams, and I won’t have internet and won’t be back until the 10th. I’ll start the new thread though, adding the X-Ray Dog stuff, Immediate Music and other stuff from this thread. Good idea. Any stuff you upload, just post and I’ll update the 1st post of the thread.

Try paying for trailer music if you make movies and don’t steal our music, if you do this legitimately not only will you get the cues you will avoid being sued – All our music is watermarked so we will get to you.

Well, I think it’s worth pointing out that Immediate Music doesn’t seem to keen on distributing their CDs to anyone short of an intermediate producer – if they would, I’d happily pay for some of these CDs (at a reasonable price, since I certainly won’t be on the big screen anytime soon)…

So, no offense, Martin, but maybe people wouldn’t be so eager to "steal" music if they had other ways of getting them at a higher quality. Right?

I haven’t missed the point at all.

We, as Immediate Music do not make our music available for this sort of use without payment for the synchronisation where we may agree to it if Globus is used.

I will sue anyone that uses Immediate Music material without permission so as I said USE OTHER MUSIC

We, as Immediate Music do not make our music available for this sort of use without payment for the synchronisation where we may agree to it if Globus is used.

I will sue anyone that uses Immediate Music material without permission so as I said USE OTHER MUSIC

It is fun to read the arguments though. I do find it highly ironic that the music isn’t available to the very people who its intended ultimately for (after all its us "little guys" who go to pay and watch a movie, that are ultimately paying for the music and can hear it in the theater, but just can’t "touch" it.) Incredibly ironic, and just a bit sadistic in a odd laughable way to get people hooked on something they can’t obtain (look but don’t touch kids). It would be nice if eventually the older stuff was released a few years down the road where it would be out of date to the film producers, but still fresh to a music listening audience. Just my 2 cents.

I do tend to agree with you Tigertail BUT…. if only it were that people just want this to enjoy, the situation we have is that no matter what people say its their actions that matter.. so they make their own movies and sell this for profit but ignore the fact that the music helps to earn their money, all we ask is people to be honest, pay for what they use.

These people would not go to a shop and obtain something without payment would they? no, they actually value a tin of beans more than they do our music. The music costs an awful lot more than the beans.

Its the greed of others that makes us defend our music. We have no security guard at the door to protect our living, so people steal it for their own profit. Nice people we inhabit this earth with don’t you think?

Vanton, you make it sound as though there are NO people out there who would listen to your music for nothing other than their own listening pleasure. Not everyone who has your music wants to profit from it… not everyone is a cold-hearted bastard like that.

The only reason I listen to this type of music is for pleasure, especially while writing, it helps influence me, if there was a way to get these into store on CDs or at itunes, I as a consumer would have no problem paying for them, I would gladly do so.

Obviously if someone is to make a trailer or some promotional material and not pay you, by all means do what you must, I would. But most here are just intrested in having some good tunes to listen to, unfortunantly the only way to get songs from your company or others who put out good music such as yours, is to put in a little footwork and research your way to finding what we are looking for.

That’s why the edit button is quite useful.:cool: Actually I do plan to buy the album, but only a physical release of it, IE, a good ol’ CD. not to share the baby =), but to be able to use it on my stereo while playing… Also I’m quite happy because it will "maybe" give ideas to companies like X-ray dog…

As for the use i’ll do with the CD: listening to it while writing my history papers or RPG scenarii, and maybe while playing these RPG.

To me, downloading IM stuff was a "pis-aller" as we say in french. Without any way of actually buying the music, I could only download a rip of it…Now i’ll get the real thing.:cool:

I have just been reading this thread for awhile now and have seen this argument that has taken place. I agree that we shouldn’t steal other people music, but if this music is ever sold for public release, and as soon as it comes out on a CD for purchase, I’ll be waiting in line to BUY it. I hope that people don’t abuse it, by sharing it for FREE with the rest of the world, spoiling it for those of us who respect composers. Why should the people who make trailers have all the fun with this music? It’s awesome music and I wish to thank them, even if all I have to listen to, is in small glimpses in trailers, it’s still great music and I will wait patiently for the day(if it ever comes) when I can put the purchased CD into my computer and listen to it in peaceful solitude.

You missed the boat my friend, no trailer music is allowed to be shared here anymore, so you can forget finding that stuff here.

Due to large interest alot of trailer music companies are putting out retail versions for us fans, thats your best best bet for now.
