Thanks for sharing, but I have some questions.

Are the beat collections all vocal songs? I’m looking for a couple of non-vocal battle themes that weren’t part of the first 2 OSTs. If they aren’t in any of the beat collections, I have to assume they’ll be part of the III or IV OSTs.

The Beat Collections are all sung by the seiyuu (some have karaoke versions as well). I don’t remember any of these being featured in the anime, however. So the ones you’re looking for aren’t here, sorry.

I don’t know why I didn’t answer this before…but the instrumental version was never released. Haven’t even been able to find a rip. You’d think with two versions on the OST, and two versions on the movie 1 OST, they’d have found a place for it somewhere.

Damn. That sucks, ha. Thats the song I’ve been looking for, pretty much ever since I watched that episode. I even went so far as to email Shiro Sagisu, or, at least his website email address. As I knew was going to happen, I didn’t get a reply, ha. Its the battle themes I want, but there are only a few of them on the OST’s. Anyway, thanks for your reply and hard work. I will try my best to look for it and if I find it, I will let you guys know. Peace.

That version is the only one I’ve ever been able to find. I haven’t gotten around to buying the OST and ripping it myself. Deal with it.

They play the instrumental version in the anime a lot, but it’s not on any of the soundtracks (as far as I’ve seen). The vocal version is on one of them (and it calls it "vocal version", as if the instrumental will be released at some point). Has anyone found the instrumental anywhere?

It’s gonna be a great day when the instrumental remix of "Number One" is finally released. I’ve been waiting for that song to come out ever since it was first played in episode 14. That’s without a doubt the best track in the series IMO. They know it and I know it — which is why I’m convinced they’ll probably never release it.

I like it, although, I’m a little dissapointed that, once again, songs were left out. Good to hear the Arrancar songs though. I wouldn’t mind an OST that was kinda like a remix to the first one, considering they were all remixed in the series.

I can answer your question. But it’s a sad answer. The theme you mean is indeed a nice theme, but has not (yet) been released on a soundtrack from Bleach. Perhaps with some luck, the newest soundtrack which comes out on december 16th, contains this theme (and other themes used explicitly in the beginning season of the series).

I know how frustrating it is when certain themes you want, are never released. Good luck.

As of Wed, Nov 24, 2010, the instrumental version of "Number One" (i.e. Ichigo’s main kick-ass music, i.e. the cut that plays while he’s on the bridge facing Byukaya near Rukia’s prison, i.e. Ichigo vs. Grimmjow final battle), can be found along with several other rare cuts (including at least one Kenpachi musical cut apparently) at the following YouTube channel:
